The food was extraordinary. We had Jerusalem tomato soup, venison strogonow, and goat cheese. All very tasty. The waiter was attentive and helpful. We had a lovely experience overall :)
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here on our final evening in Krakow. The menu was clearly marked with gluten free options which is great as I have coeliac disease. The food was delicious, tasty and reasonably priced! The servers were very polite and attentive throughout...the whole meal! I hope to visit again one day.More
We had a tour of the area earlier that day and the tour guide had said to visit a restaurant in this area for Jewish food etc so we decided to wander back that night for dinner and this restaurant was the only visibly busyish...restaurant so we thought that was a good sign and requested a table. We could hear the couple next to us saying how much they loved their food and this got us excited for ours but unfortunately, we can't say the same for what we had that night. I had the Eggplant to start with my partner having the Holiszkes, both were nice but nothing to rave or get excited about sadly. Our mains then came with my partner having the Chicken breast grilled with garlic butter (was told that it wasn't chicken though the menu is a typo and that it's actually turkey) he said it was very bland and dry due to there being no sauce. I had the Royal mix Pierogi which was so very very bland and the mushroom sauce was similar to the taste of mushroom soup and has a similar thick consistency. I left 2 pieces of Pierogi to which the waitress did ask if I didn't like it, I said I was just full but I was just bored of eating it to be honest. We then had the Jewish Cheesecake to share which was actually very nice. We asked for our bill which had the "Recommended Service Charge" which was fine but it also had an unknown charge of 39 zl at the start which we could not identify due to it being written in Polish. We did not question it as at this point we just wanted to go back to the hotel, the only thing we could think of is that it was for the entertainment that evening which was 2 men playing music off and on (1 song then they would disappear and return 5 minutes later, play another song and disappear so on so forth). Looking at other reviews I'm saddened that we had this experience and can only hope this isn't the norm.More
Stopped for a drink at lunchtime and decided to have the venison hunters stew in the bread bowl It was excellent and the staff were attentive and polite
Perfect location in the historical jewish area in city center. Atmospheric live music. Reasonable prices for really tasty dishes. Very good service, I recommend this place.
Location is lovely: in the heart of the jewish area of Krakow surrounded by many other israeli-style restaurants. This place looks very nice and staff is very polite. Jewish music will accompany you during most of the dinner. The food they serve is kind of...jewish, but there are also other options. Vegetarian and Vegan guests, will have a nice selection of dishes to chose from. Tomato soup was good, but I highly recommend the beetroots on camembert and french-toast. I am sorry to say that their falafel are not that great. Within the desserts, they have a bailey's/chocolate ice cream cup, but what you get when ordering it, has nothing to do with the picture on the menu. The place is NOT KOSHER.More
Thank you for your review.
Szép este Krakkóban az Awiw étteremben. Az előételek széles választéka nagyszerű. Az izraeli saláta, a kacsa és a pierogi különösen finom volt. For those who don't understand Hungarian, all we can say that this restaurant is fantastic!
Than you very much for your review. Hope to see you again.
We have roamed into this restaurant by coincidence.Ask for -10% discount if you do not receive so at the introduction lady. We were not so hungry but we wanted to try some of the jewish cousine and it was delicious, we loved israeli salad very...much. Also tried Falafel but it was for the first time so cant compare if it was good or bad. As a desert we chose apple pie which was perfect.More

The dishes and service here were all excellent. We tried the beef tartare, goat cheese on toast, duck and potatoes, and bigos stew - each plate was perfectly seasoned and each meat dish was juicy and flavorful.
Than you very much for your review. Hope to see you again.
