The Galicyjska Restaurant - for the unforgettable taste of Polish cuisine St. Pijarska 9, Krakow Within the 17th century vaults of a fine old residence located in the quiet of the famous Planty, our guests from Krakow and around the world are treated to the most delicious Polish cuisine. The Galicyjska Restaurant represents traditional "Noble" Polish cuisine, and specializes in serving game: our roast leg of wild boar is first marinated in juniper, rosemary and thyme, before being served with a delicious Żubrówka (Bison Vodka) sauce. As for fish, cod fillet in lemon sauce and mushroom risotto is particularly memorable. If a group of 4 people would like to try a wider range of Polish flavours,…

We had such a lovely meal here. Just on the edge of Old Town in a beautiful setting. From the moment we entered the restaurant the waiter - Skawek - was amazing. The food was outstanding and it was perfectly timed service. The food is...exceptionally priced and we could not sing the praises of the restaurant enough.More
Recommended via free map at hotel. Wow we tried a meal for 2 with an assortment of Polish traditional food. Absolutely delicious so much so we went back the following evening to try a different selection. The staff deserved their tip. Really good experience
We went to this restaurant since we get a recommendation in our hotel but it shouldn’t happen. The reason is one, the food is… not good. We ate żurek and we tried to eat Cesar salad. My dad was hungry so he managed to eat...it but I didn’t and left everything on the plate. It is better to not go there. I gave 2 instead of 1 star because żurek was eatable.More
The food here was fantastic.
We had the sharing platter for 2, which was more then enough and had a large selection of meats and classic dishes.
We also had the ice cream, which again was delicious and full of flavour.
They gave us complementary...homemade apple cider and also an apple vodka drink to finish.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience and really let us indulge in traditional polish cuisine while still being very affordable and tasty.
I fully recommend this to those who are in Krakow and looking for lots of food with traditional cuisineMore
Terrible service from the staff that did not remember who ordered what. Forgot the drink serval times. The food was dry and tasteless. I ordered the duck. Noe ice for soft drinks. Will not recommend this.
Chose to eat here because of the interior, and found out that the food is also good here. Especially recommend honey beverage with food, it is delicious. The atmosphere, and the service were very nice and the experience was overall perfect. I was dining alone,...but would also recommend this for a date - the place feels nice, quiet and intimate.More
Went for dinner (I must say it was not bad, but the worst one after 5 days in Krakow). When going to pay, we were told that we could not pay with card because the machine was not working and that we had a bank...in the corner to withdraw money.
Commision at the bank was really high.
They should have warned us before ordering the dinner, as at the door it was clear that they accepted cards.
I felt really cheated.
I would NOT recomend this restaurant at all. There are much better options in Krakow.More
AWFUL - what a let complete let down!! We actually went there May 19th, 2018 ..... our hotel had booked the reservation ages in advance and the day we arrived, we called to confirm. They said no we couldn’t come because they had a bus...tour coming through. We suggested we come early for dinner - that was a huge mistake. The Borscht was hot beet water with a few tortellini floating in it 🤷♀️ I’m polish so I know what Borscht is supposed to look like - and that’s NOT it. The perogies were not very good either and they really just wanted us to leave. Very Poor!!More
