I always come back to this place with a big pleasure. For me, one of the best pork chops in the city. This time we had also shreaded goose and selection of the starters in a form of a small tapas. It was all so...yummy. Liver and pate were my favourite from the selection. Big plus for good choice of wines and friendly Staff.More

We were in Krakow for just one day, but we wanted to try good polish cuisine. Thanks to a Reddit suggestion, we ended up walking a couple of kilometers to reach this place – and it was so worth it! As main course, we ordered...the goose dumplings (pierogi) and pork ribs with mustard and honey. The service was excellent – kind and preoccupied employees – and the food a true delight. We were very impressed, and even did something we rarely ever do at restaurants; ask for dessert. For reference, we picked the cheesecake and the apple pie, and those two were very good. The restaurant atmosphere, the food and the price made this a true five star experience, and I speak for all of the family.More

Thank you or visiting and fantastic review.

The restaurant made us feel very welcome from the email confirming our booking, seating us at the table and being very patient as we tried to decide what to eat. The portion sizes are excellent. The goose burgers appear huge but not over facing. The...burgers were slightly pink on the inside and were very tasty. My son's comment was "I could definitely eat another one!" The pulled goose with a cherry sauce can only be described as 'just right' the flavours were well balanced, overall very nice and beautifully cooked. The ribs, we were told, were often taken home as leftover as the portion was large, apart from a couple of pieces of potato and a little salad nothing was left on the plate. The meat was so tender and fell off the bone delightfully. Deserts went down well although probably not needed. You have to try, and enjoy, their homemade liqueurs. Don't be afraid to try it, especially the horseradish vodka, it's stunning. We ate recently at a Michelin stared restaurant, the food here was on a par with that.More

Ate here on our final night in Krakow and was not disappointed. Set in the jewish district, a quiet and unassuming, traditional polish restaurant. Perfect for a romantic meal or dinner with friends. Began with a mixed starter, various crusty breads topped with beautiful, fresh...ingredients, mouthwatering mushrooms, pate, melted cheese and fruit, goose livers.. sooooo good. For main I ordered roasted goose leg, with a creamy mushroom sauce and roast potatoes and beetroots. One of the most moorish plates Ive ever eaten. My wife ordered the chicken which was equally as delicious. We finished with chocolate fondant and my wife had fruit dumplings all perfect. We also had a litre of wine and a large beer. The service was polite and welcoming but not intrusive, the waiter friendly and knowledgeable. Take a chance and you will not regret it. 10/10More
