Excellent in every possible way. From appetizers, to main dish, to dessert, everything was exquisite. Could not recommend this more. The food selection is very good, they have a great wine choice (both Polish and international) and the staff is very friendly.

I always come back to this place with a big pleasure. For me, one of the best pork chops in the city. This time we had also shreaded goose and selection of the starters in a form of a small tapas. It was all so...yummy. Liver and pate were my favourite from the selection. Big plus for good choice of wines and friendly Staff.More

Ok, so me and my partner were looking for a traditional Polish restaurant, coincidently this one was next to our hotel. The food is absolutely delicious with national dishes but also local (only in Krakow). loads of traditional drinks as well. Last but not least,...the staff was lovely and very helpful! I was surprised to see everyone has an exceptional English! Recommend this place with all my heart ❤More

Imagine: you're a tourist in Cracow, now you are seriously risking Stendhal's syndrome and you need a break. And a meal. You visited Kazimierz, but it wasn't exactly what you need- I mean, pertaining to culinary experience. So you cross the Wisła river and then...on the other side you find this little gem. The place isn't big, but cosy and neat. The service is helpful and quick. The menu is actually suitable for many tastes. We were treated to the goose menu and the restaurant deserves its name for that. The food was very well, wine pairing was fine. Price/quality was excellent. Don't hesitate- go there. You'll enjoy it.More

Thank you for your visit and feedback. We approach the freshness of our products very seriously and strictly. Therefore, it is not possible that the dishes served are not fresh. Dumplings are one of the most popular dishes, so we prepare new portions every day....More

I`ve chosen this restaurant for our family based on TripAdvisor's reviews as a discovery local cuisine experience for our first trip to Krakow but was not really satisfied with the food especially that the prices here are not lowest. We wanted to taste more options...so practically we ordered starters and several main courses to share. Best of what we had was at the end the starters selection and the meat filled pierogi. From starters our favorite was the goose pate but rest was all well done too. Now to the main courses I took pulled goose meat and it was really too dry and no taste also even if huge the plate didn't worked out as a dish. The buckwheat had no taste - should have been roasted and the green beans watery, no spice, nothing. This was one of the most expensive item on their menu and unfortunately a big disappointment. The duck breast also was a no, very gummy difficult to chew. Service was very nice, level of English very good. In terms of atmosphere well is a duck and goose theme so expect mainly that and a lot of rustic style like items but that should not influence in any way your choice. One negative, the place seemed very clean at first glance no problem at level of plates, glasses or table itself but I didn't liked that the seating pillows were stained and also after we sat at our table I realized we had some food on the floor from previous customers probably. Counting the level of prices I would recommend a bit more attention to this kind of details. Location wise this restaurant is rather recommended for those close to the Jewish quarter if you stay in the old town area count with a longer walk - 30 min plus but worth as the area there has a very nice atmosphere. So overall for the level of price and specific of the restaurant I would expect a much better quality and taste when it come to goose and duck meat but I would return for starters and pierogi.More

We loved the taster starter menu. A small taster of all the starters. All delicious. Also sampled the taster vodka selection. I’m not normally a vodka drinker, but all four sampled were excellent! We enjoyed the trout fillet and the cabbage stuffed with goose meat...for mains. The ambience was perfect, the service first class. A lovely Polish dining experience.More

I chose this resturant because of the fantastic reviews and how popular it was in the list of kraków restaurants. It was incredible, the service, the food and the feel of the place.
