As we were staying in the hotel it would have seemed a shame not to eat here during our stay. We found the food quality was faultless and very reasonably priced. The pork leg was fantastic, as was the beef filet and catfish. There is...a good wine list which again was reasonably priced. We enjoyed our meal here so much we ate here again during our stay.More

We had a lovely meal here on Sunday night! Service from Bernadetta was wonderful, and the food was great. Very reasonable considering it was cooked by Marcin Soltys, a top chef in Poland. Unfortunately we were unaware they did a tasting menu, otherwise we would...definitely have ordered it, but the food we did have was delicious. A glass of Tattinger was under £10, which might be considered high there, but felt very reasonable to us. We also had a bottle of delicious Polish wine called Palac Mierzecin that we would unreservedly buy again! If I had to give constructive criticism, it would be that they should consider having a cheese board on the menu, as we encountered some fabulous Polish ones during our time here. Comfortable and tastefully decorated restaurant, with delicious food, and great service. At £91 for 3 courses, with bread, a complimentary bouche, champagne and bottle of exceptional red, we'd definitely recommend.More

We booked this Restaurant because we struggled to find places at short notice in Krakow. The restaurant of the Hotel Indigo you would think you've entered some 5* luxury restaurant. The service was amazing. The food was another level. We went for there courses and...each one was presented like a culinary science art project. Starter was delicious, I had the fish. Mains are something else, delicious soft pork with amazing tastes. Dessert, a frozen nougat bar with popcorn, chocolate roll and some lovely extras. Bloody lovely and all round great experience!!More

Do yourself a favour and treat yourself to fine dining at this restaurant. You won’t be disappointed, and you’ll gain a culinary experience - it’s an experience, not just food. My absolute favourite thing I’ve eaten was the pumpkin soup. And if you think pumpkin...soup can’t be elevated to a fine dining level, definitely think again. The service was super top notch, and my mum whose birthday we were celebrating was made to feel very special, which was a lovely touch.More

After having eaten traditional Polish meals for a couple of days, we visited this restaurant. It has a modern European menu with its own take on traditional Galician food. It's located in Kleparz just north of the Old City. Apperently this is a bit off...the beaten track, because it didn't have so many guests, which is highly undeserved. The meals here are of a very high quality, the service is enjoyable and very professional, and the prices are very reasonable compared to the quality. It has a good wine list. We had a delicious pea soup and probably the best sea trout I've ever tasted. So I would highly recommend this place as part of a culinary trip to Krakow.More

On our last day in Krakow we decided to walk around the north end of the Old Town for the first time. Just north of the Florian Gate and the Barbican there is a small boulevard with another church at the end, so we walked...up there and looked around the area. As we passed the Hotel Indigo, just to the left of the church we saw their restaurant menu posted in the window. Including the ala carte menu, they were offering a 5 course and a 7 course tasting menu, with optional wine pairings. We decided to splurge on our last night and made a reservation for the 5 course with wine dinner. The dining room is not very big, and is not highly decorated, but don't let that throw you off. We arrived and were seated promptly. I asked the server what kind of whiskey they had and she said she would send the bartender out to help me. He showed up with 4 bottles of scotch and gave me a free sample of each. Nice start. I chose one and it arrived with a very generous pour. The entire meal was excellent and the wines were a very nice selection. We were first given an amuse, which was beet root served 3 ways. Then the menu started. It consisted of lamb tartare with trout roe, zander (fish) with spinach and buckwheat, cream of green pea soup, leg of lamb with a wine reduction, and finally a vanilla pana cotta. Each bite was awesome and contributed to a great night out. Service was excellent and paced to our liking. The best part was the final bill was only $140. A great meal and a great value.More
