Best sushi we’ve ever had!

Without a doubt the best sushi restaurant I’ve visited in my life. We were seated at the bar, where you can see your sushi being made in front of you by skilled chefs who are also very interested in you, your trip to Kraków and your opinion on the food being served. The ambience in the restaurant is very nice and cozy as well. While the restaurant is a little pricier than the average sushi restaurant, the food is also at a much higher level, meaning the money is definitely worth it. I would definitely recommend Nago to anyone who loves sushi/japanese food. Starters, mains, sushi and dessert were all amazing and flawlessly prepared.

Excellent sushi

Excellent food and very polite service. We asked the head chef to surprise us and to just make what he wanted to and he did not disappoint. The staff are very friendly and take into account if you have any allergies or any other special preferences. Would definitely recommend the place for anyone and would definitely go there again.

The best Sushi in Krakow, for a number of reasons

For my wife and I, this is now our regular Sushi place. We have probably visited over 20 times and try to visit at least once a month. All the chefs are very good but when Head Chef Marek is in the building, you know you are in for a treat. We invariably go 'Omakase' and let the chef suggest dishes. Often they might have fresh oysters or some other seasonal items. The quality of ingredients is excellent as exemplified by the superb Nigiri - especially tuna although scallops run a close second. The rolls are also extremely good and provide that wonderful collision of flavours that good sushi can provide. Importantly, they don't try too hard. We've visited other Sushi places in Krakow and the usual problem is they are over elaborate with too many ingredients/condiments. At Nago, there is a subtlety and balance to the food that keeps us coming back. For example, I very rarely add any soy sauce or wasabi - I eat the sushi just as it comes. Add to this the excellent, friendly service with nice touches like occasional complementary glasses of Sake, and you end up with a special evening of excellent food with just the right ambience. Highly recommended

We ordered the sushi platter for two and it was divine. it comes with a wide range of different sushi’s to try and was just the perfect amount. the staff were attentive and made our visit very welcoming. reasonably priced and high quality. It’s well worth the visit and would recommend to all

Best sushi ever!

After 5 days of delicious polish cuisine we ventured for sushi. The service was impeccable. The place clean, stylish and comfortable. Artur prepared the best sushi and ceviche we have ever tried. After listening to our taste and preferences he suggested a few options and prepared incredible sushi rolls and nigiri with delicious and sophisticated combinations of fish, vegetables and dressings that matched our taste impeccably. As a passionate foodie, I left Krakow with a bit of sadness, knowing that the best sushi I have ever had is more than 1500 miles away from home!

It was our second time in this amazing place. Everything was perfect. The restaurant serves original sushi, the waiters approach the customer very individually, they are very flexible in the selection of ingredients and what is the most wonderful they know how to make your night special:) defenitely we will come back!

Amazing sushi

After looking for the best sushi place to eat, I figured Nago would be suited for the task. Service is top notch, and so is the food. A bit pricey compared to your average sushi bar, but definitely worth the money. Techniques used are also very professional, experienced chefs, clean wet towels before dinner and very lovely ingredients. 1 on 1 service and a look into the kitchen also improve the ratinf. Even in the Netherlands we would not have sushi of this quality. Besides some minor mistakes (one sushi fell apart), Nago does a flawless job. Next year, for sure worth a spot in the Michelin guide. 9/10

Best sushi in Kraków 😍

Strongly recommend this place, it is suitable for couple dates, family dinners and business meetings. I have been the client for two years now and I can say it is the kind of place you always want to come back to. The staff is very patient, trying to cater to your needs, depending on your food preferences/intolerances. Every time it’s the fresh fish, beautifully served dishes and a big selection of things on the menu. What I love about the place is that everyone could find something for themselves. You can sit at the bar if you feel like chatting with the cooks and observing the rolls making process. You can also sit at the table if you prefer to stay at the company of your own. Also, a big shoutout to the chef Marek, a great guy with a great spirit and energy 🙂 Strong recommendations from the menu: - uramaki with tempura shrimp and marinated salmon - tempura seafood for starter - chocolate cake for the dessert

My family went here and where pleasantly surprised with how good this place was. The vibe was great, and the food was very tasty. However please note that if you want to go here with a big group you will likely have to sit at the bar. But if you do sit at the bar you will be able to speak with the chefs and they can even change up what you ordered to your liking, not to mention they where so friendly (as well as the rest of the staff.) The only thing is that the menu is small but if you can manage that then I would highly HIGHLY recommend this place.

A suprising gem near the old town - worth the visit

A bit on the side of the old town in a quiet area but well worth the visit. The sushi was excellent, fresh and portioned well. Not too much rice and they willingly omitted the nonsensical western nonsense like cream cheese and silly sauces when asked. Tempura shrimp was done properly with the correct rice vinegar and soy dipping sauce (most places overuse panko and give you a mayonnaise sauce.) One of the best sake selections I have seen in Krakow - their wine list was also decent. Service was great and the ambiance was as well. Be aware that the service charge is automatically added to the bill - unusual in Poland.

Best Sushi in Kraków, Maybe Poland.

By far the best sushi place in Kraków. In fact, I've searched all over Poland for its equal and still number 1. The food is crazy fresh, they make it infront of you (if sitting at the bar), they can customize each plate to your taste and desires if you prefer not ordering off the menu as I do. The flavour profiles and combination are stella as is the pairing of different saki's to complete the experience. They can talk to you about where all their products come from, some stories along the way too. International level all the way. Surprised they aren't Michelin recommended tbh.

Wonderful service, food, and price !

My friend and I had the absolute best late-night dining experience at nago sushi ! Upon arrival all the staff were so friendly; they were very happy to chat and answer our questions regarding the food and drinks. We had the type 1 set menu, which was gorgeous, and ended up ordering two more courses each because it was so lovely !! Our sushi master Mariusz even made us a special off-menu dish which incorporated all our favourite bits from the set menu (we were big fans of the oyster mushroom futomaki !). We left stuffed and very happy ! Highly recommend and can’t wait to visit again !

Great service and food

I came to Nago Sushi with my mom and it was a nice experience from begging to the end. We very much enjoyed the food, wish we could fit more into our bellies. Wine, that was recommended to us was 👌👌. Getting almond cake as a dessert was perfect end to our stay at Nago, light, crunchy and not too sweet. People who made our visit awesome were Lena, Kuba and Damian. Thank you!

Good food bad service

The food was great and very tasty, would recommend. However the service was not so great. We had to wait for quite a while to get our order taken and the waiter never came to check in on us to see if the food was ok. The menu said that if you weren’t happy with the service you could ask for the service fee to be taken off the bill. We did so because we weren’t satisfied with the service and also the waiter charged us for more food than we asked for, and the waiter was very rude to us due to that. Overall the food was very good but the service was horrible in my opinion.

Visit at Nago Sushi was very enjoyable. Above all, we were professionally served. The waiter was very nice, each served dish was described by him, he gave us great advice. The food was fresh and simply delicious. Interestingly selected flavors and a large selection of different types of sushi. In addition, we really liked the interior design, so we feel very comfortable there.
