Arrived late (2300) on a Friday night after my flight from U.K. I really only found it after seeing all the main eateries in the square closing, went in and found a table in the back room. As you’d expect, it was very busy and the back room seems to be a little neglected by the staff but they were really working hard. It took me nearly ten minutes to get served and sometimes you went ten minutes before you saw another staff member (tip; if you’re having another drink, don’t wait until you’re empty, grab a staff member.) However, all the staff were really friendly and were just busy. Served food until 0130 or 0200 which was good. I ordered a takeaway pizza which again took a while to come but honestly, the value for money was excellent. 3 pints of lager and a takeaway 13” pizza came to about £12. Happy days.

Thank you for review, and glad to hear you enjoyed the pints and the pizza. If was a very busy weekend and I'm sorry the service was not to our usual standard, hope to see again soon.

We only went here for drinks because they were showing the Six Nations rugby. We arrived and the pub was extremely busy so it was standing room only (to be expected). A group vacated their table and my partner and I went to sit down. The table already had a reserved sign on it (no time) so I assumed it was for the group that left. One of the bartenders came to me and said "this table is reserved". I said "oh that group has just so I thought it was now free", he said no reserved. I asked when it was reserved from and he said "I don't know it's just reserved ok" I didn't like his tone and thought he was very rude for no reason so I didn't broach the subject further so went back to standing. Which was fine as the pub was really busy, I just didn't like his attitude and a few people nearby commented on it also. As for the pub itself the décor was quite tired looking and tables were piled with empty glasses. Waitresses were literally pushing customers out of the way to get back to the bar etc. There is a better way to do that and the phrase is "excuse me". There are far better bars in Krakow.

We came here as it was recommend. Started off well although the menu didn’t have a lot of choice. The burgers were Divine we all loved them! They were very filling although we did order chips to share but we all left stuffed. The cocktails were lovely too! Although the experience wasn’t great as a waitress cleared our plates without asking and before we were completely finished. Also in the menu it says services is added for 4+ people however they added it for us (party of 3) but we didn’t realise until we paid but we weren’t very happy so watch out as they add 15% on! Would of gone back if it was for the forced service

We visited this pub in February 2023, on a Friday evening. If you are sat at a table they will come to your table and take your order and then put it on a tab. We moved tables so had to pay our tab before we could move. When we paid cash the server said they would bring us the change and never did. After 20 minutes I asked the server again if she could bring us out change and she was shocked. She said ‘oh you want your change?’ with a shocked look on her face and I said yes. After this we went to the bar to pay for our drinks, so nothing could happen with our bill and we could track it better. However, after paying for drinks they would not automatically give us the change, we had to ask for it. A table next to us was paying by card and when they received their bill, there were two extra rounds of drinks on their bill that they hadn’t had or ordered. The table asked to speak to a manager and said they’d only pay for what they had and the server agreed to change the bill for them. This was incredibly disappointing as we loved the pub and the environment of karaoke, but did not return to the pub. Considering the prices are supposed to be cheap in Krakow, this is not the case in here because they change your bill. During our time being there, we were also asked if we ‘wanted a sniff’ multiple times.

PLEASE READ...... Me and my partner returned to krakow after an amazing experience last year.. however I cant even begin to explain the trauma we feel from this pub. They took over £500 off us trying to tell us we had not paid our bill when we already paid them £230 which would have been impossible for us to spend. About 6 men came from nowhere took my partner into a room 2x other men took me and wouldn't let us leave until we paid. I have bruises on my arm from them grabbing me like a rag doll. We had no choice but to pay. & as for the young girls working in there don't fall for there kindness. This was all infront of a pub full of people I honestly don't know how the place has not been shut down. They are absolutely vile people & this will be taken further.

We actually did have a couple of nights drinking in here, but the staff are definitely miserable and disinterested. Trying to get a table is a joke, unless you're in a group. All tables have reserved signs on them, they're not actually reserved and will sit empty for hours. So annoying. The food we tried was actually OK.

Sat down and wanted. Drink only was told table was reserved although no sign waitress was very rude dismissive and unhelpful did y offer a table inside or anywhere else was happy for us to walk off and drink elsewhere ! Obviously they don’t need the custom a great shame as it’s in a lovely piazza off the main square

This was my first holiday back to Krakow since covid travel restrictions have been lifted ,it was great to visit this most beautiful of city's ,our group of 20 plus were in Krakow to celebrate my sister in law's 60th birthday and one of our meeting points was The Bull Pub. Been here lots of times on previous holidays to Krakow ,always had a great time here and so it proved on our latest visits. I love the look of this pub,the interior is superb ,a solid wood serving bar dominates the main room pubby decor and furnishings ,tv's to enjoy the sport and lots of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Maly Rynek. On our visits here we enjoyed beers which were amazing, flavoured vodka's and great burger meals served by staff who made our group so welcomed ,this was a great meeting up pub ,had great times here as always and when we are back in Krakow hopefully very soon we will most definitely be revisiting here. The Bull Pub is easy to locate along Mikolajska,a street and area of outstandingly beautiful architecture and a major tourist destination. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday,8am till 2am. Well worth seeking out if you're in the Old Town.

Visited over Easter. All tables reserved, though not all taken, and not allowed to stand, eventually got seats at the bar at the back. This place is the last 'pub' on earth you would want to go to. It appears to me that staff must be instructed to rip customers off with their orders. Ordered polish beer, but they brought Heineken. It was easier to pay the inflated price than argue with the intimidating bar staff. This place is a hell hole and was the only unfortunate place we visited in Kraków that didn't reflect what a wonderful city it is. Avoid at all costs, go anywhere else in the Market Square as the atmosphere and attitude of staff is totally at odds with what a pub should be. It may have carpet for effect, but it's nowhere near an English or Irish pub that they advertise to be.

Getting a table if you are a couple is a joke. Went in on night 1 and asked for table for 2. Were told it was fully booked and we could sit at bar to drink. We were there for 2 hours and tables with reserved were not used. They really need to wise up, they actually lose custom due to their greed. Having said that all places in Krakow are same. Night 2 we walked in and asked for a table, waitress said we are full, I said its for 4 people and she said sit anywhere you want. Food was very good and atmosphere is good. Be careful, witnessed several people being ripped off with inflated bills. 1 guy was very annoyed, he had 3 identical rounds and the price had gone up by equivilent of £10

The Bull on Mikołajska is without doubt one of the most touristy pubs in Kraków and the most visited by UK tourist. This is a fantastic British themed pub with a brilliant well kept interior with many interesting features that relate to the UK. Its a fabulous pub thats always busy and a pub that has been here since I first started coming to Kraków many many years ago.It was as always very busy when we went into here early in the afternoon but we were on our way to meet our friends who were here already and had got us a seat. When we visited here we had a few of pints of Tyskie brewery Ksiązęce lager's a really good Polish beer which where served iced cold and price wise on par with other pubs and bars around this area. If you are looking for a taste of the UK then this is the pub for you as it's lively and very popular and very easy to find as its smack in the main tourist area on the little square. (This is my first review of the Bull). Opening Hours. Monday-Sunday-08.00-02.00.

10 of us went to watch to footy and to be fair we had a great evening it was only when we checked the bill the next day I was so shocked to see we had been charged £74 for 1 bottle of house wine and 4 single vodka and cokes - I went back to the bar and was told it would be checked by the manager and they would sort it - we went back later that night as were planning another evening there but no manager in sight and the young lady behind bar said the bill was correct and that if we weren’t happy to go somewhere else so we did! Round the corner to another Irish bar where it was £7 for a pint of Guiness and a vodka and coke! I know prices are high on the square but those prices are ridiculous they lost out on our custom and we wouldn’t return - sorry

The waiters always pub a reserve sign on empty tables and if you walk in and cannot fill a table they don’t allow you to sit down or even service you. They are externally rude and I will never go there again. Kind of sad as i use to go every weekend but luckily Krakow is full of amazing places to go for drinks and dinner.

Food was nice. Some staff were polite. Fast service. However, after ordering they take away your menu and drinks menu straight after ordering. With this being the first time going to the pub I couldn’t remember what drinks they had. I asked a staff member for a drinks menu and she seemed to be a little annoyed by the fact I asked for a menu. Rolled her eyes, etc. The lovely couple sat behind us gave us their menu instead. The pub atmosphere is definitely not one for couples, it’s more of party groups. However, if they expect people to go in and eat as couples or a family, they need to tell certain groups of people to tone it down a bit as all you can hear is their terrible singing and watch them fall over the place. Another downside to this pub is the tables are far too close together, once sat down you are then locked in with the table behind you. Whilst in this pub, we witnessed at least 4 different couples come in, they were annoyed about people being too loud and they left.

Thank you for your review, we do get busy and yes some people do go OTT. We have just opened our new bar which is very different and is geared more towards couples. We serve food and also have live music, if you return to Krakow check it out.
