Make sure you have a reservation.m, lucky we did. We were sat promptly and our waiter was very friendly. He was the king of an “up sell”. He wanted us to have a cherry vodka to start as it’s a tradition (£4 each) then a bottle of water for the tale (another £4), cheese on the garlic bread, coffee, desert and so on. The food we had was lovely but at the end he was very pushy about paying a “voluntary service charge”. Was a good meal but the service and up sell was a bit much

We dined here on a Saturday afternoon in February 2024. The decor was nice, low lighting until an inconsiderate member of the restaurant shined a light into the mirror and dazzled me. The music was a nice level, easy to have a conversation. The food was nice, my friends enjoyed the pappardelle they did say there were obvious and unexpected chunks of beef and garlic. After seeing the hype of the lasagna on tiktok, I was underwhelmed. It was average and the sauce was not spicy when it said one chilly. Also, the food took 40 minutes to arrive, we did notice other tables who ordered after us received their food before us. Other than that, good service. Overall, a nice Italian, not quite worth the hype but would recommend.

Visited on Sunday evening. Had to queue to get in, popular restaurant. The spaghetti carbonara was absolutely delicious. Best ever. Friends salad was good too. Reasonably priced there. Although they charged £2 for a sprinkling of parmesan 😕 Limited choice of desserts so didn't have any.

We decided to visit Mamma Mia’s after seeing all of the social media hype around it whilst on our trip to Krakow. We made our reservation for 7pm Saturday 30 November and as we were unaware that it was one of the busiest days in Krakow (St Andrew’s day) our taxi was delayed to the restaurant. Between myself and my partner we attempted to call over 10 times to explain we would be running a few minutes late however there was no answer. We arrived at 7:09 and apologised that we had run late and we had been waiting in the queue outside as we didn’t realise we could skip ahead as we’d booked. We were told we were too late and had been marked as a no show. After a few minutes of waiting we were however seated and around 5 minutes after, a waiter came to take our order. When ordering the waiter came across very abrupt and rude but we thought it was maybe just a one off. We then received our food and thanked the waiter to which we got no response. I will say the meal itself was lovely, however, once we had finished the food the waiter came back to clear our plates and again acted rudely. He didn’t ask how the meal was for us, he in fact didn’t acknowledge us at all, he just picked up the plates and left. We then waited a further 25 minutes for the waiter to ask if we’d like a dessert or anything else, but he never asked at all. As such, we decided to just get the attention of the initial lady who had shown us to our table and request the bill. The waiter came back over to take our payment and asked if we wished to pay a service fee to which we politely declined. This was again met with rudeness and when my partner questioned the bill as it was in polish and we unfortunately didn’t know what it said, he was told that’s just tax. We now later realise we had still been charged the service fee on the bill after specifically saying twice we didn’t wish to. I will also add that along with the rude service we received, I was seated directly in front of the wine fridge for the restaurant and constantly had members of staff reaching over my head whilst I was eating and trying to enjoy what I could of my meal. I even had one member of staff ask me to move my chair out of the way for them to get into the fridge. I just feel like there possibly shouldn’t be a table there as it doesn’t make for a very relaxed or comfortable experience at all. Overall, the food was lovely, however, the service we received massively impacted our experience which is a real shame.

After reading all of the positive reviews, as a family group of 6 we booked in advance to visit at 1900 on Saturday 23rd November 24. Upon arrival there was a queue, fortunately having a reservation we had a table assigned at the front of the restaurant and were lead to it. I would say the restaurant was busy but not packed. No one appeared to be eating much in our area. 10 minutes after arrival a drinks order along with some pizza bread was taken. Drinks arrived 30 minutes later. 35 minutes in main orders were taken 2 pasta's, 1 pizza and 3 lasagnas. Our food order was the slowest I have ever experienced. Over 1 hour 10 minutes to receive a simple starter of pizza bread! I asked the waiter on multiple occasions and he bluntly told me this is not fast food. To which i replied no its not even fast food it is bread! Tables arrived later than us and were served before us. Food arrived starters and mains together 1h30 after order, no apology given. I asked for ice for my drink, it took 30 minutes, I also asked for chilli for my pizza it never arrived. We found the waiters rude (one in particular, the man in the picture) and not attentive. I understand they were busy but manners cost nothing. I feel the food we had was very expensive for what we had £165 with 2 rounds of drinks mainly soft drinks. The waiter who served us is below in the picture. He also told me There was an additional compulsory 20% charge to our bill for the service (what service!) i reluctantly paid but on reflection wish i did not. I feel completely ripped off and would like to be compensated, I have reached out to the manger but to date had no acknowledgement.

Received terrible service, over an hour and half to get starters (garlic bread) our waiter was rude and i was bullied into a 20% service charge, complained to the manager a day after ( Weronika Czyż) who agreed to refund me, bank details taken and a month later no refund and now i am being ignored. What a joke. I get mistakes happen but customer service after says a lot.

Upon arriving at the restaurant, I asked if I could sit in the area where you had their wine bottles however, when speaking to your waiter (a bald older man, who works at the front of the restaurant) I asked if it was possible his response was very abrupt and rude saying "NO" I questioned why and he said that side of the restaurant is only for reservations and then just walked off. I then took a seat at a table cramped up against another with a broken wobbly chair. During serving our table he was nice enough however I do think he should make things clear such as when ordering the garlic bread the dip he also brought would be an extra. We wasn't aware of this, thankfully enough I was not on a budget but many people are and I think the extra hidden costs for that and the Parmesan cheese which you would usually get offered for free in an Italian would be charged! I think this is very wrong! My friend had the lasagna and she said it was mediocre and I had the prawn garlic pasta, which didn't come with any sauce at all, it was very bland so I had to order a carbonara sauce and Parmesan cheese to add to my pasta which was a little rubbish. However after I added it, my pasta was nice. We had to porn star cocktail which were very acidic. After a meal, we asked for the bell more than three times and it took around one hour for us to receive our bill. The couple next to us. We're still eating their main course received the bill and left before us. As we were about to pay the bald waiter I mentioned at the start asked if we would like to leave him a tip which I declined due to waiting so long for the bill I'm not really enjoying the meal or drinks, which he then got very offended by that. I did not leave him a tip and once again became very blunt and rude. If you see this place on TikTok and perhaps it's gone viral, and that's why the customer service is lacking then I would personally avoid! Rude staff, basic food, rubbish drinks.

Lasagne was grim, the meat was mushy and tasted like it came from a can. Partner had pizza and it was ok, nothing special. Service was also rushed and the most said to us was “tips not included” when handing over the bill. Would not recommend or visit again. FYI, service is added automatically for a party of 4 or more (around 12.5%)

Great food, however staff let this place down. Very forceful with wanting you to order more drinks and more food, and asking for tips when you pay the bill, seemingly a very money oriented restaurant. If staff were more polite then would have easily rated 5/5 but unfortunately this isn’t the case. Beware too, they will bring sauce/mayo to your table without asking, and if you use it, you will be charged for it. Same with when you are asked if you want cheese on your pasta, you will get charged for this. At most Italian restaurants these things come as standard. There are definitely more welcoming Italian restaurants in Krakow, don’t be fooled by the hype on TikTok like we were!

We decided to try this restaurant as we had seen it rated highly on TikTok. We arrived and asked for a table and the lady asked if we had a reservation, we said no and she informed us we could have a table as long as we were less than an hour and a half (fine by us). We were shown to our table and the bald waiter informed us it was customary in Poland to have a shot of vodka. We didn't really want it as we don't really drink, however we didn't want to appear rude so accepted. It's important to note that we went to a different restaurant a couple of nights before and were given a shot of vodka each on the house after paying the bill so as far as we were aware, they would be free. How wrong we were.. we received the bill, the waiter asked if we wanted to add a tip which we did because he was friendly and quite jokey, however we then noticed that we had been charged for the 2 shots of vodka (64 zloty). We felt cheated and even more so because the food was substandard. The pizza and cheesy garlic bread we had was heavily charred and the carbonara was average but expensive. This meal was the most expensive of our stay and also the worst! Avoid going here, but if you do, be aware of the vodka scam and the average food!

We went here based on reviews from TikTok as everyone was raving about it but it definitely wasn’t worth the hype! First we were asked if we wanted a shot of vodka as it was a polish tradition so we agreed not realising they would cost 34 zloty each!!!! The food didn’t take too long to come out but was bang average and lukewarm. At the end the waiter kept consistently asking if we wanted to add a service charge on. We declined which really irritated him, but after paying £25 for average service and average food we didn’t think it was necessary. Wouldn’t recommend as there are a lot nicer places that are cheaper and much better quality.

We booked well in advance for 9pm and, despite this, as soon as we arrived they told us to hurry because they would close at 10pm... Incorrect behaviour, they could have told us at the time of booking! So we start dinner by hastily ordering a margherita pizza and two tomato pastas with burrata. The pizza was more like a crunchy piadina, but it is acceptable for an Italian restaurant abroad. The pasta surprised us as it was cooked well, not overcooked at all, while the burrata tasted of nothing.

We went after seeing the hype about the place on tiktok however we were quickly disappointed. The wait for drinks and food was very long. My partner ordered pasta with shrimp and spinach and there was barely any sauce, garlic was cut into chunks, the shrimps still had shells and it just felt like a cheap student meal with no taste. We had to ask for bill twice and waited 20 minutes to get it. Im not sure if the poor service is due to how popular they are thanks to tiktok and them not being able to cater to larger groups but it was a disappointing experience

Not god service or food at all. We ordered 1 spagetti carbonara, 1 spagetti carbonara GLUTEN FREE and 1 lasagne as main courses. We ordered 2 foccacias with garlic as starter. The waiter didnt wrote anything we ordered down. We waited 20 minutes for the starters to arrive. The foccia was just a pizza crust with a little bit garlic on top, and a garlic dip on the side. Serveral places tasted and was burnt. After we had finished our starter the waiter asked us if we she should order the main course now? So she didnt order the main course before after we had eaten our starters.. we waited around 30minutes more for our main courses to come. We got 2 regular spagetti carbonaras, not the glutenfree one. When we said that we ordered a gluten free the waiter said she didnt hear that, but they could make a new one. We agreed with that and ordered two more sodas as well since we had waited so long and already had drunk up the first ones. She didnt write down this order either, but said ok. She seemed pretty annoyed at this point with us correcting the order. We had to wait 20minutes more for the gluten free spagetti to come, the 2 others already eaten their food.. 1 hour after we ordered all of us had gotten our food. No sodas to be seen. We had to ask again when she came with the gluten free spagetti, seemed like she had forgotten but we didnt got any appology. 5 minutes after the last one had gotten her dinner and were in the middle og eating the waiter came and asked if we would order any dessert, becaue the kitchen were closing soon. This was because they had used so long time on giving us the food in the first place. the food itself was ok. The spagetti was a bit undercooked and hard. Ive tasted much better carbonara. The lasagna was not the best. Overall do not get the hype this resturante has on social media.

We came here on our second night because of its social media hype. The servers were extremely rude to begin with, not welcoming at all and then had the cheek to show us even more of an attitude when we refused a service charge. Awful place, poor quality tasteless food. The cocktails were bland and basically sparkling water. Pasta fungi was tasteless and hard, chicken was smelly not fresh at all. My partner had the lasagne which was basically a punishment. It was like a school dinner lasagne or something you’d give the patients in a care home. Boiled mushy meat with no taste, hard lasagne sheets with a watery bland sauce. Nothing more than a packaged microwaved portion. It’s making me sick having to think about it to type this review. Did not eat more than 5% of our food, they could’ve easily resold it. Same with the cocktails. We basically had a bottle of coke each and then left. When the service charged was asked and I said no, the waitress face looked as if she will smash this card machine over my head now. I’m sorry but you don’t deserve a service charge with your poor service quality and the fact we’re asking for our bill when our food and drinks have barely been touched, surely the question begs to be asked… “is everything okay? Can we get this packed for you?” Nothing! Just straight to service charge. Avoid.
