The food was oké, just not very memorable. They are not well equiped for large groups. The service was mediocre, probably because it was women's day and the restaurant was fully booked.

On the lookout for decent veg options, this place came in handy first and foremost due to its prime location close to the central market. Food gets served quick, "spicy?" does mean spicy, don't order it if you cannot take some heat. As for the Pakora and the Daal Makhani, well done, not quite as back in India, but what... More

Visited this restaurant on a busy Friday night. Didnt have to wait and were shown to table straight away. Waitress was lovely - very friendly and efficent. Had popadums and shared a lovely sheek kebab. We then had different main courses. Big portions and very tasty. Tried jogi beer for the first time and it certainly was a able replacement... More

Nice restaurant, nice staff. The popadoms were rubbish, but I find they always are everywhere abroad with little choice for sauces. The curry, rice and peshwari naan though were to die for, much better than expected and as we asked for a hot madras that is exactly what we got. They make a good curry. With a good few beers,... This was a hidden gem, service and more importantly the food were both excellent, the dishes were different to how I'd expect them in the UK but they were all very nice and the portions were a good size. If you want a bit of spice give this place a try.

I ate here in February with my wife as this was close to our hotel and I love curry. The service was quick and the staff friendly. I had my usual of a lamb vindaloo, which tasted good. I can't recall what my wife ordered but it did come with a nan bread, which to,our surprise was cut up and... More

Ok, so a recent tour around India last year enlightened me as to what Indian food really is and in my opinion, from tasting probably 40-60 curry dishes in India from Delhi-Goa is that it is still fairly bland and rather mild compared to the fusions and experiments that are readily found in some of Britain's fine Indian food establishments.... Was a little surprised to find curry houses in Krakow! Didn't expect them for some strange reason but there they are. Mrs Davies and I chose this one for our last night in Krakow curry after checking Trip Advisor. Started with kebabs and two of the biggest samosas I've ever seen followed by Chicken Madras, Palak Chicken, onion rice, garlic... More

Very good Indian food with variety of different meals to choose from. But sometimes I think they have some issues with the repeatability - probably different chefs are doing things in different ways, sometimes with an average end effect (very greasy sauces and tasteless chunks of chicken). However, most of the time the food is outstanding! Staff and service is... More

Indus Tandoor is a well known and reasonably priced Indian restaurant where you can often meet tourists who know and like the original taste of Indian cuisine. Professional cooks for the preparation of all dishes use only natural and exotic spices the guarantee the original taste. By the wishes of our clients we prepare dishes with different levels of spiciness. We also offer take away. Open Sunday to Thursday from 12 noon to 10:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday until 12 midnight. Being the first Indian restaurant in Krakow established in 1998, we have good experience in Indian food service. We don't want to boast to much about our food, so visit our place in person and decide for yourself. There is a Garden Grill behind our restaurant.
