Much better than we expected it would be! We were wandering in the Jewish quarter contemplating lunch and a guy persuaded us to come into their heated patio. I never give in to that type of thing and the menu had pictures which always puts...me off! but we were hungry! The food was actually really good! The sweet potato fries were sensational! The duck was good and my wife loved her salad The sweet potato fries are worth the trip to this place alone!!More

Nice place with a large garden outside and free live music. Friendly staff and very good cuisine. Great view at the Main Street in Kazimierz with 3 synagogues.

We came for dinner but only wanted something light and Ptaszyl delivered. Good tomato soup and interesting local dumplings (Pierogi). The setting is lovely and the heaters very efficient.

My fiends and I ordered our first round of drinks and I was served a lovely caipiroska. We decided to order another pins and were served the wrong cocktail (instead of vodka we were given a rum caipirinha). When we told the waitress she said...the bar had the order correct but she would go and check. She never came back 15 minutes later so we said to another waitress who took our drinks away. Less than a few minutes later, the first waitress came back with the same drinks and tried to pass them off as new ones. You could tell as the ice had melted instead of being full of ice like the cocktail should be, plus they couldn’t have possible been made in such a short time. We felt like we were being taken for idiots. Not the customer service we had received from anywhere else during our 4 day trip to krakow. I would avoid if I were you!More

This is a very good restaurant. We dined here on 3 separate occasions having a breakfast, lunch and dinner. Excellent on all occasions. Good size portions and excellent quality. Service was great and nothing seemed too much trouble. The outside area is properly covered and...has heaters and blankets should things get a bit chilly. The Cymes Jewish stew was sooooo tasty! The trout was also excellent as were the beef pierogi.More

We were a family of 6, all adults roaming around the Jewish Quarters when a man approached us and invited us to dine at his restaurant. It seemed a nice place and had an interesting menu so we decided to dine there. The manager (or...owner) offered us free soft drink, so it was a small bonus. 3 of us ordered pasta as a main course, however when it arrived it the portion was so small that we decided to go to Mc Donalds to get another meal. To add insult to injury when the waiter came with the bill, to our amazment he informed us that there was a service charge of 10% on the bill, which was not written anywhere on the menu or on any sign at the restaurant. The food was good but nothing special, the portions were very small and the price was high compared to other restaurant. There are plenty of good restaurants in the area, which are much cheaper and treat customers in a decent and honest manner.More

So far we have had amazing meals in Krakow, therefore our expectations were high. Menu reads so well! Unfortunately the Jewish Trout was tasteless along with the Kugel dry but beetroot good. Salmon was fine, some gnocchi undercooked. Service okay. We were really underwhelmed with...everything.More

I just came back from having dined there. What an experience! I followed the advice given by the greeter/promoter (hi, Hubert!) and by the genial waitress (sorry, I didn't catch your name), and tried food I had never tasted before - traditional Central European Jewish...cooking. I am really happy I did. Also, great service, very friendly staff in general, everyone was very prepared and able to explain what each dish was.More

Awful steak, cow was obviously fed on car tyres, old lino and tarmac, could have eaten through an old slipper easier. Told them and they gave me a shot of cherry....why thank you for that it more than makes up for it....no wait is doesn't,...T bone steak......more like x rated bone steak, awful food, do not be kidded by the hype. If the restaurant replies to me and defends itself then maybe you should listen to your customers, any how off back to old blighty where the cows are sweeter.More

Genuinely the worst service and food I have experienced on any holiday. Invited in by staff outside, given the smallest table for 4 people. Ordered a gin and got a dirty glass. Ordered food and wrong burger was brought to the table, one friend ordered...a salad and basically got a bowl of dry leaves. The fish and risotto had no flavour at all. The waitress asked my friend if she enjoyed the salad and when she was told no there was no response. Asked for the bill and the waitress kept it under her arm while offering me the card machine. I asked to see it and the card machine was held right next to me the whole time. I wish I had noticed the 10% service charge as I would have asked for it to be removed. I can see some reviews are good for this restaurant which shocks me, maybe we got there on a bad day. Before anyone thinks I am just the type to complain, I have left 5 star reviews for other restaurants and had beautiful meals the rest of the trip.More
