I have eaten lots of times in this restaurant. When i take some friends to visit Poland, this is a place where I take them.
Decoration is cool for visitors, vintage, somehow like in PRL times.
- Food is OK: good sized portions, prices average/fair...(not expensive, neither dirty cheap), quality OK. It's not a starred Michelin restaurant, but I personally neither look for that.
- Service is very friendly and helpful. One of the best features of this restaurant.
- Location is great: next to Wawel but a bit apart from the croudy and packed central Krakow streets.
- It's really cool to have a lunch/diner outside, in summertime.
There is usually some traditional live music in the evenings.
Local is big, so very appropriate for big groups.
A restaurant that I clearly recommend as regular customer I am and that I will keep visiting in future.More

Thank you for your opinion! We hope we will be able to host you again - Greetings from Pod Wawelem!
We are 5 friends. One of us had to pay for everything. Waiter rude. Manager Klaudia rude and helpless. We will never come back.More

I visit this restaurant every time we come to Krakow as you always know what to expect. The service is not always great, which you can easily overlook based on what you get for your money. Overall this place has become synonymous with Krakow for...us and we are always happy to return.
Great place to enjoy a few beers with friends or family over a nice heavy meal.More

We went on recommendation from a local amazing tattoo artist who said you must try, he was not wrong. Possibly the best meal we have had in our two visits to this lovely city. Make sure you are hungry as the food portions are very...generous and the value for money is very very good. Also try their lemon vodka you won't be disappointed. I have read other reviews that say the staff are rude, all I can say is they must have gone to another restaurant as all the staff we encountered were happy and very happy. People also commented on the wait time if they had bothered to read the top of the menu it states there will be a wait time. Overall well worth the visit and on our return in the summer months we will be back.More

Visited here twice in a 4 day period. Officers platter, chicken skewer, pork ribs, pork schnitzel, plus desserts. All excellent great portions for the price. Very good service in a beautiful period building. Also good beer on draught . Served in a stein if preferred...for certain beers. Great experience.More
