We were a party of 12 people, and got the newest waitress, she did not speak any English, and did not know the menu :( It was a very unpleasant, even when her supervisor came to help... We waited about 3 hours for the main courses to arrive. The food was fine, but the service was horrible. I hope the... More

We visited P.P.P Restauracja on our first night in Krakow and the food was amazing. Having previously eaten an overwhelming amount of meat and goulash dishes in the neighbouring Czech Republic we were delighted to receive lots of vegetables with our mains. The restaurant has a wide variety on the menu and the service was superb. We visited again before... More

Learned from Trip Adviser reviews, proved to be as good as expected: friendly staff, big menu, excellent food, not expensive. Served true Polish food with big portions, took VISA card. We shared a dinner for two entre among three people. Fourth person had the flaming steak which we filmed to add to friends envy. Definitely would go again.

We were staying in a hotel a few minutes walk away and came across the menu when having a wander about one evening. A quick trip advisor search and seeing the good reviews, we went in for a meal. I followed the advice of another reviewer and had the zurek soup, best soup I've had in a long time. The... More

We visited this restaurant on the last day of a very pleasant 3 night break in Kracow with friends. What a delight it was. Do not be put off by the less than exciting menu board outside where there is no visible signs of a restaurant. Go through the archway, down some steps to your left into a basement. There... More

6 ods us ate here for 2 nights having a main course with house wine and vodkas to close. The bills were about PLN 330 total! Take care when ordering the veal schnitzel - it is HUGE! Everyone enjoyed their meals and we tried 8 menu choices. Do go and have a really nice evening.

Piwnice Palacu Pokutynskich PPP restaurant is really a little gem, or perhaps a well kept secret by the locals. It is only about 500 m from Planty or ~700m from Rynek (the Market Square), but you will find mostly Cracowians eating there. The restaurant is located in the historical cellars of an old palace. Even on a hot summer'sday you... More

When you eat in a Polish restaurant you should start with a soup. Try the Zurek, it was very good. The restaurant has a variety of dishes with mushrooms, apparantly it is a speciality of this restaurant. We tried pork with chanterelle sauce - delicious. For the desert we tried the cheese cake - a bit dry and compact for... More

I went there a couple of times. It truly is a hidden gem, not far from the city center. If you love Zurek and polish cuisine, it's worth the trouble finding it.
