We ordered Polish meat platter for two. It was about Zlt 150. Huge amount of food - ribs, pork tenderloin, duck, potatoes, coleslaw, pierogi. Served with porcini sauce. Everything was delicious.
We were too full to try the dessert!
Ate here with a group and absolutely loved it. It’s on a busy street and you would probably walk right by the place. The chicken stuffed with mushrooms and hunter soup were amazing. Stop in and give it a shot.
Our tour group had early dinner at this restaurant. Having potato soup and chicken with vegetables is not that favourite of mine . Must be a wrong selection . Maybe I will try again next time. Good staff service though.
Good little restaurant. Great portions and for an excellent price. My Fiancé had a massive T bone steak for £12. I had dumplings with meat which were lovely but could not finish due to the size of the meal!
Would recommend going.
This restaurant in the Kazimierz district is wonderful. It is really good value for money the food is delicious with large portions The wild boar stew is mouth wateringly good. We ate there for 5 nights in a row and all the meals were of...the same high standard. It is a small family run place so does not qualify for the hit and miss depending on the chef comment!! Would thoroughly recommend this place.More
Very good choice of food, good quality and very reasonable in price. It appears to be frequented by local people so this shows the quality of the restaurant .My husband and I normally go to a different restaurant every night . The food was so...good at Galicja that we ate there every night . We look forward to going there when we return to KrakowMore
When we visited on the Sunday the rather drab interior aside we were amazed at the quality, quantity and value of the food available. My sauerkraut and pork rib soup starter was a meal in itself. The pork schnitzel was fabulous and I loved the...wild boar stew and potato pancakes. When we returned later in the week the change was amazing, the service was slow, stock was staked in the dining room and the wait for food was terrible and when it came my pork schnitzel was over cooked and bit burnt, the steak rare instead of over medium and my wife's chicken had little filling and had been through the microwave and was tough and barely edible. They did wave the cost of the steak but we were very disappointed as we were looking forward to returning to what we considered a gem of a restaurant. The rating is based on the lesser experience.More
A lovely restaurant very reasonable I had the wild boar stew with potato pancakes my husband had the steak and chips, I couldn't eat all mine it was too big for 2 main courses 2 beers and a gin and tonic cost just over 100...zloty about £20More
Stopped here for meal on our first night in Krakow having read earlier good reviews - we were not disappointed. Very quiet/we were the only customers but then we don't like eating late, and the food was excellent and service good.
Found this restaurant quite by chance. Very quiet when we arrived but soon livened up. We were given a free starter of wild boar pâté which was delicious. The service was attentive without being intrusive. We had a wonderful meal and would have loved to...have had the time to visit again before the end of our trip.More
Been here twice on our visit to Kraków and had a good Polish meal both times at very competitive prices. (We went to the Rubinstein which is almost next door one night and were kept waiting for ages for our meal and charged double what...we paid in Galicja.)
Staff were very pleasant and it is nice to get authentic food.More
This restaurant is a treasure. The food is delicious the service is great and the prices are incredibly reasonable. It has a great menu with lots of choices. The portions are large and very filling. We ate there every night of our stay. It was...so good we did not even consider anywhere else. We were in Krakow 2013 too and the food was brilliant then too.More
