8⃣️。 We ordered takeaways from them, the pork knuckle we received was obviously reheated instead of fresh cooked, the skin was very hard and was impossible to chew, almost like chewing plastic. I called the restaurant and and at first they said this...plastic-like pork skin is normal, and after that they said they cannot do anything since their kitchen is already closed and they don’t know if this pork knuckle was made by their cook??? To end the conversation, the manager told me that I can EAT THE MEAT UNDER THE SKIN, there’s nothing else they can do, and they didn’t even try to solve the problem. Their attitude was terrible, they don’t care about their customers and just don’t want to deal with me. So in conclusion, I waste 55pln on this disgusting dish, and this restaurant just totally ruined my impression of Kraków. And last but not least, for the manager of this place, you said that you don’t care about a bad comment, so here it is. Enjoy.More

First we waited for a while and basically had to press to get a table…. After a while someone then has the time to take our orders. The waiter forgot one out of five beers… starters and main course was served more or less simultaneously....Btw a while after ordering the waiter came back and announced that we couldn’t get the steak…. Actually too late to cancel the whole order, which probably would have been the case. Both food and beer were ordinary…More

After seeing this online we decided to give it a try, and what an experience it was. If you like my wife have any sort of walking difficulties then I would sit outside as to go inside the stairs are very steep. When placing your...food order make sure to be very clear if you wish one or two portions as they seem to assume that you wish to share your meal. Apart from this small hiccup this is a must try place, the food is amazing, and the beer is super {try the honey beer its delicious!}Definitely a place to go if you visit KrakowMore

I love Polish food both for its taste but also its lack of pretension. I also love beer, so this place was perfect for me. I had a huge plate of different meats but the think that made me happiest was a big plate of...smalec (essentially lard) with pickled cucumbers and bread- an excellent beer snack! The restaurant has a lot of atmosphere and feels like you are entering another world.More

Also known as the elephant bar you can be sure of a warm welcome when you come in from the cold. Food is fantastic and plenty of it, even the starters were very generous portions. The honey ribs and cabbage were delicious. Staff are friendly...and attentive. Def worth a visit.More

CK BROWAR Do you like meat? No I mean, do you REALLY like meat? Because wow, you get A LOT of tender meat here for a really low price. This ain't no fancy schmanzy joint, it's a cool, dark, massive underground cellar cavern restaurant with...a variety of home brewed ales, trendy teenage staff, rock and pop music played loudly but not deafeningly, large wooden benches, and a menu chock full of simple polish fayre and western friendly food. Expect fries, chicken wings, soups, pork knuckle, schnitzel, sausage, ribs and every other bit of farm animal you can think of, in massive portions. We ordered the CK Browar special for two with pork knuckle, ribs, schnitzel, fried potatoes and sauerkraut and it cost just £14 for both of us, and we nearly died trying to get through it. All was perfectly cooked and the rib meat fell off the bone, and the potatoes were crisp and fabulous. But we couldn't even nearly finish it. It was too much meat for me. Somehow, the food here costs less than a nippy stand up meal in the outdoor market in the main square, so it's definitely worth a visit. As I said, you won't find any frilly gourmet food here, but if you're starving and looking for well cooked polish food at a good price, then this is the place for you. More

Reasonably priced, generous portions of food. The beer pipe was fantastic - hic! Great atmosphere, we sat in the restaurant which was slightly quieter than the bar area.
