One of the best brewpubs in Krakow is C.K Browar,a brewpub I always look forward to visiting on any holiday I take to this fascinating city. It's a cellar style brewpub, interior is amazing, exposed brickwork, vaulted ceilings, vintage beer enamels adorning the walls, wonderful...decor and furnishings, a very cool looking serving bar and plenty of seating options spread throughout this multi roomed brewpub, its just a really good brewpub to chill out in. We were here on a cold and rainy February evening but this brewpub was warm,we luckily managed to get a table were a very pleasant member of the bar team took our order of a flight of beers, these beers arrived on our table in no time at all and were really good, I really enjoyed the wheat beer and the stout,my brother loved the lager and pale ale and we both thought the ipa was the best but all the beers were superb. We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. C.K Browar is easy to locate along Podwale. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, open from midday. Well worth seeking out if you're planning a holiday to Krakow.More

They had some seasonal beers which went down well including Honey and Cherry flavours, but my favourite by far was the Gingerbread. We kept returning despite it being quite loud and busy, and it's tough to get a table unless you get there before 6:30....You may need to catch their eye, but the staff are pretty good at keeping you oiled despite the number of customers vying for their attention. Food was OK too, although that wasn't the main purpose of our visit. They do a warm spiced version of some of the beers (think of mulled beer, if you can...) which I tried once but wasn't really my thing. Worth a try though if only to warm you up - you never know, you may love it! Prices vary slightly by variety, but most of the pints (0.5L) were between £4.00-£4.50 which isn't too bad.More

Busy place but we had pre-booked for 10 people and were led to the restaurant, nice table. When the waiter came to take our order we wanted to order starters as there were starters on the menu but we were told no, no starters which...we all felt was strange. Anyway we all ordered and the meals were ok, nothing fantastic. When it came to the bill we were told one bill, one card, no explanation and no choice. Would have been nice to have been told that when we sat down. the worst thing was when we went to get up the waiter had spilt hollandaise sauce all down one of the girls coats and not said anything. We couldn't be bothered to say anything due to language barrier and he had been a grumpy waiter anyway and would have denied it. Overall don't waste your time, much better places to go and eat in Krakow.More

Very, very poor service. Waiter was arrogant and didn't want to serve properly. We would have spent more money if he just would have asked

Fantastic “ beer Keller “ style downstairs bar / restaurant. We found this by accident on our first night and went back another night as we enjoyed the great local beers and ample food. The atmosphere is quite lively, staff are hardworking and efficient. Although...busy both nights, we easily found table space and enjoyed this place. We ate food each night. Portion sizes are HUGE! Our sharing platter of pork knuckles, ribs, schnitzel, potatoes & cabbage was ginormous and could easily have fed at least another person. It was all delicious. The next meal was equally delicious. The chicken in sun dried tomato sauce was yummy with salad and fries. I tried the bread/ pickles & lard starter - portion was huge, very tasty but not the healthiest option! Can’t fault this place at all. Well worth a visit ( or two).More

On our last night in Krakow me and my husband visited C.K. It's a cool place located downstairs in a cave-looking atmosphere. Nothing to complain about at all. Staff was friendly, vibe was good and food was delicious!!

A great selection of home brewed craft beers...The food was tasty too! Music also added to the chilled out atmosphere of the place. Look for the special offers and happy hour deals...No standard Lager though

Took a chance going here on a Friday with no reservation and it was a bit chaotic getting a table around 7pm but we got the last available one. You have to have the beer when going to a brewery and we tried the weizen...which was very good. We also sampled the meat pierogies and the sliced beef with gravy and cream and potato dumplings. The meat was very tender and gravy sauce was flavorful without being salty. It was very busy so we had to flag the server down when we needed something but we were just relaxing and in no rush so it wasn’t a problem for us. Prices were reasonable too.More

Luckily I asked a local person for advice and found this place with large portions of tasty authentic food. Haven't tried the beers but they seem to have a lot to offer (they brew their own beer, too, BTW). Pleasant atmosphere and interior decor.
