This place serves bad oysters. I was sick after visiting this place.Prices are too high for that kind of service.I recommend find better place in this price group.

I came there with my family to have some nice meal. Judging by opinions we've read, our attitude was rather positive. However, it changed. Waiter seemed like really tired and just wanting us to leave. We ignored that, everyone can have worse day. So we...ordered two pastas and one salat. And then the waiting time started. It's been more than an hour and we had to ask about our order (first nobody was able to tell us anything about it) and then wait more. When we finally got our food, the spaghetti aglio olio had so much oil/olive in it that was not tasty at all. I have no idea how a small salat and two pastas took more than an hour to make, even if there were many clients, nobody informed us about long waiting time. Won't visit again, for that price I can get much more comfort and better food, even nearby.More

Made a reservation at 19:00 Restaurant half empty, was not offered the option if indoor seating which would have been fine but in 18° outside without outdoor heaters not so pleasant. Ordered Blak Angus USA steak 220gr 175zt it came with Cucumber salat (pickled) not...everybodys taste, baked potato wedges which were slightly burned and overpowering sweet sauce/glace on the side. A restaurant who takes pride in offering variety of beaf should al least get the basics wright, ask "is everything ok" "HOW IS YOUR STEAK" and offer salt and pepper, make sure your customers are ok in 18° without any heaters or blankets offered. I will give it 3 out of 5 only for the quality of the meet which was cooked perfectly to my liking. I would recomend all day going to the place next door Stara Ponderosa which I have as well tried for 50% lower price and heaters at each table.More

Located in a beautiful setting, close to a lake, great in Summer when you can dine outside. 2nd time there and unfortunately, not as good as the first time. Average food, still 3 out of 5, but there are a number of better restaurants in...Katowice. Good portions, tasteful, ok service, but nothing that stands out, maybe except the meringue dessert. Could come because of Covid, don’t know, but next time I check out another place.More

Not sure why it took me 7 years of visits to Katowice to eat in this restaurant. Anyway, only 5 minutes from the city center, at the lake, with great views, this large but cosy restaurant, which is known for its steaks. Outdoor seating possible,...parking closeby, Ok staff, not very focussed to our table, good selection of food at good quality and at a decent price. We had various teaks, which were all good, but not spectacular, as were the desserts and wines. Better than average, but not as good as Patio Park or Slaska ProhibicijaMore

I was taken here for lunch by my business partners. Great food, nice wines and impeccable service. Our waitress was fluent in English. They have an extensive menu, even in pandemic times. Would come back, good value for money.

Fantastic setting and atmosphere, beautiful and huge selection of wine, and the food was 10/10 as was the service! Very very good

If you like Mediterranean cuisine, properly served and eaten in a place with nice décor, then La Cantina is a place that you must visit. This is the place for fine dining and you won't be disappointed with the dishes, although expect that prices will...be adequate to a high standard. Not far from the city center, you find youself in a "country side" atmosphere. Beatiful terrace overlooking a lake. The food is traditional and of good quality. The service staff is very friendly and helpful. Prices are on the high side for the region, but...acceptable.More

we were 5 for a dinner and even if it took a bit of time to get started... (before getting our order taken) we all enjoyed the quality of the dishes. Nice variety of choices, some options looked a bit strange but all tasted delicious....Waiters are professional but considering the large choice of wines they have could know a bit better their wine menu.More

Definitely recommend this place ! It is a "must" once you are visiting Katowice ! This restaurant is one of the best in the Upper Silesia. We went a few times to La Cantina, for a drink or for diner. Every time we had to wait a rather long time before we could have a menu, and after, wait again before ordering. That said, the food is rather good, and the...place rather nice. The waiter are nice also. Too bad the service is so slow.More
