Very good gluten free restaurant. Cosy, nice atmosfere. It's not a fast food somtimes you have to wait up to 20 min for your meal. The only thing containing gluten they sell is beer. But there is a GF beer as well.

Placek is a true hidden gem tucked away next to Lidl supermarket, behind a tall building and up the stairs. Luckily there is a big green banner. I was amazed at the quality and freshness of the food. We tried the crepes, potato pancakes, coconut/pineapple...cake and beer. The service was very good and they speak English. We will definitely come back :-)More

I went there because I wanted to eat polish food but not in big restaurant. Found this place away from city centre but worth to go there and try this gluten free, tasty and simple food which is also in budget prices. I took to...dishes and portions are rather large for this prices, so you won't complain about being hungry after even one portion.More

Stayed in Katowice for a week with work and luckily found this place on the polish coeliac association website as an accredited restaurant - I was not disappointed!! They have no gluten on site (apart from the beer) so you have absolutely no worries about...cross-contamination - an absolute god send for someone who speaks no polish and so couldn’t even attempt to explain what cc is to a restaurant! It’s a quirky cafe, friendly staff and with plenty of choice on the menu (which is translated into English). Would 100% go back here if I’m ever in Katowice again!!More
