How is Restauracja Poziom food&wine rated?

My wife, mom, and I stayed at the Diament Plaza hotel and had dinner at Poziom 3 out of 4 nights we were there!! Although there are other good restaurants in Gliwice... this was the most authentic Silesian/Polish food... exactly what we were looking for....Their classic zur soup was fantastic. Also the potato pancakes, duck, dumplings were great. One of my favorites was the traditional pork belly dish called Himmelreich served on a bed of sauerkraut and mashed potatoes... out of this world. Lukasz... the head host took excellent care of us. The staff were all very welcoming and gracious. On our last night at the hotel, my wife and I were packing and felt like staying in the room, so we ordered dinner to the room and Lukasz brought it to us on white table cloth and candles. Very nice touch. Thank you so much for the excellent service!More

My husband's birthday!!!!!

Everybody invited to celebrate my husband's birthday will remember this great dinner for a long time.Nearly everybody ordered specialities of the Silesia District and did not regret it.The artistic starters with hummus, żur żyniaty soup( delicious!) second traditional courses ( himmelreich with panczkraut-pork with sour...cabbage and potatoes) simply fantasic! We were recommended to drink Campo Marina Primitivo red wine and that was a great choice so suitable to our dishes. Though our stomachs were fell we were tempted to try absolutely super desserts- I took cheese cake with ice-cream and whipped cream. It was gorgeous! The atmosphere of the restaurant , delicate music , wonderfully laid table , superb service made this evening phenomenal. It will be remembered for a long time. I fully recommend this place and myself advise everybody to visit itMore

Truly a gem of this city

OMG we just had our dinner at Poziom+ (level+) it was way above what we expected. We stayed at Hotel Diament about 6-8 times now but since the change of the restaurant this is the first time we tried it. So pleased. Food is high...class and amazing quality with modern artistic design. The beef tartar served with raw quail egg, radish, onion and other additions including granary bread was heaven to our taste buds. I could have another plate or two. The tiger prawn salad absolutely lovely and pasta fantastic. We did room service but we saw the restaurant and the atmosphere with the private rooms and the brick is very cosy and individual. I’m a foodie and we travel all over the world and I will tell you now, Stay at this historic hotel and make sure you also check mark Poziom+ it is extremely worth it. To add to the taste buds experience the staff at the restaurant same as the reception is phenomenal and there is a reason why we always return and have been for 7 years. We have very high standards of hotels and food and this place meets them all. Another surprise is that prices especially for a westerner are extremely affordable considering the 5 star food and hotel experience. Do not miss this place. When in Gliwice stay at Diament Plaza and ensure to try Poziom+ as a guest or a passerby. Rating this place 5+More

Stunning interior, great food and service

Stayed in Diament Plaza Hotel in Gliwice at the end of February. Because I had couple of meetings planned I decided to try a restaurant located in the basement of the hotel. The place looks remarkable! We were sat in one of few private dining...rooms they have. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Recommendations made by a waiter met our expectations and much more. Food was delicious. I tried the most traditional Silesian dishes and loved it all. Definitely perfect spot for a business lunch or romantic dinner. Highly recommended!More
