Unfortunately, tonight's dinner did not go as well as yesterday's. As a hotel guest, I don't expect better treatment than the average visitor, but a caution from the wait staff would have been in place. (1st stop by the waiter) Two main meals, water and...wine. (2nd Waitress stop) When our food was brought to us, the girlfriend was given a different type of food. Ordered Black Tiger prawns with rice and vegetables (main course), got Black Tiger prawns with baguette and sauce (hot starter). The two glasses of wine we finished during the meal, no one took away or asked if we wanted more. (3rd stop by the waiter) When we alerted the waiter to the confusion of dishes and asked him to verify that the correct amount was on the bill, we were given a rather cold apology and asked if my girlfriend was still hungry. We said we'd take dessert. And we waited for him to bring the dessert menu. (4th waiter stop) After about fifteen minutes, I wanted to order two Crème brûlée with double flavors and one Tiramisu. I was told that they only had the classic vanilla but a larger portion and that they didn't have Tiramisu at all. Okay, so only two Crème brûlée and I wanted a Flat White and for my girlfrend a Ristretto. The waitress didn't know what a Ristretto was, so my girlfriend ordered an Espresso. (5th stop by the waitress) Crème brûlée arrived (tasted like mascarpone without vanilla), Espresso arrived but my FlatWhite did not. I thought maybe they would bring it after a while, so we ate. Crème brûlée eaten, my coffee didn't arrive and no one arrived to ask if everything was okay. After another wait to see if the waiter would come, which he didn't, I went to the bar to pay where I stood for a while before the waiter arrived who mysteriously disappeared when I got up from the table. The restaurant was half empty at the time of the 3rd waiter's visit. I think the staff could be a bit more pro-customer, I understand that tourists don't feed them. But I'll think about going again. Total spend was 160Zl, with a little more effort it could have been 200Zl and tip on top. Overall, the food except for dessert was very good, the wine too. The coffee, according to my girlfriend, was also good.More
