During our stay in Mierki we visited this restaurant several times simply because after our first take-away meal we were quite impressed.
So these impressions were strengthened during our visits at the restaurant itself. The inside of the restaurant is nicely decorated, a bit of a living room atmosphere. There is also a garden with several tables and there we sat during our visits as we our dogs with us.
The menu is quite varied besides some dishes of the day/week. So all should be able to find something suitable.
The food is nicely presented and the home-made salades are really very nice as well.
Service was very friendly so overall we were very happy with this restaurant.
A minus is that they only accept cash payments which in this time of electronic payments is a missed opportunity in my view. Forcing people to first find an ATM before visiting the restaurant is not very customer-friendly.
Please note this is a very popular restaurant so making a reservation is recommended.

until now, this is definitely my best polish food i ever had..
not fat.. very high quality product, and a perfect taste, super refined !!!
2 soups ,3 main dishes and 2 desserts, and 3 drinks 200 sloty.
i cant complain about that prize, surely not because the food was just perfect !!
the place is very nice and welcoming.
and the personal is super nice.
please let the personal help u choose, as they know best what's best..

It was a nice experience with regional food. Fresh fish, delicious duck, excellent cold soup” chłodnik”. Very nice service. Fully recommend!

Nieprzyjazna wegetarianom. Kelnerka zapytana o dania wegetariańskie zaproponowała... rybę. Pytana o piwo typu pilsner lub lager twierdziła, że nie ma (było). Bardzo ubogi wybór dań, może jedna trzecia opcji w karcie. W pieczonych ziemniakach z oliwkami dwa malutkie kawałeczki oliwek. Niewielkie porcje. Brak możliwości płacenia kartą, w czasach pandemii zupełnie niezrozumiała. Część dań mocno przesolona. Z plusów, piękny wystrój, część dań bardzo smaczna.
Vegetarian unfriendly. When asked about vegetarian dishes, the waitress suggested ... fish. When asked about a pilnser or lager, she said there isn't any (there were few) Very poor selection of available dishes, maybe a third of the options on the menu. Two tiny pieces of olives in baked potatoes with olives. Small portions. Lack of ability to pay by card, in times of a pandemic, completely incomprehensible. Some of the dishes were too salty. On the plus side, beautiful decor, some of the dishes were very tasty.

The sulky waitress announced the dishes of the day in a robotic voice and left. We felt unwelcome from the first second. Then we saw the astronomical prices in the menu (they didn’t scare us away) AND the information that you could only pay in cash… Non, merci.

The food was excellent, home-made with passion. The service was friendly and fast. The payment is only by cash, but it's worth the effort of withdrawing money.

We found this gem while driving to the seaside. We had a delicious goose breast and dumplings with blueberries. Advance booking is required. Please note that only cash is accepted.

Very nice service and traditional Polish food cooking. It is worthy to try if you are in the area. Very nice overall and congratulations for being different. I has the impression that Marlene Dietrich was going to appear anytime... Greetings from Spain.

It is a small restaurant with only few tables. In the summer there are also some tables in the garden. Very good food. As we were there in November we had a chance to take goose. It was delicious. If I am nearby I will definitely go there again.

The prices were fair for good food served quite quickly in a clean and cute if Kitchily decorated restaurant.
But, besides the food service, it was striking how unfriendly the service felt.
Our local host recommended this restaurant because he goes there and he knows that the food is very good. We found that it was indeed.
But we weren't welcome here. It was a Sunday night, before 8 o'clock when closing time was listed as 9 o'clock. as we approached main entrance, the place looked closed. It was only when I stepped inside the front door that it was clear that it was still open. The kitchen staff are all seated at a table on the terrace staring at me.
As the menus were distributed we were told that there were many dishes that were not available. This was the greeting!
The food was good. The prices were reasonable.
When we asked for dessert, we were told that there was none available.
Nice place, good food and prices. Too bad about the staff.

We have been here a few times now, always during holidays in the lake region. You cannot leave this cosy, old-fashioned yet charming restaurant disappointed. It serves traditional Polish food in a simple but very tasty way. Adults and children will enjoy the light and fresh dishes usually based on local and seasonal products. After the main course you have to try their cakes and desserts. You won't regret:)
