This restaurant is well located in old town square opposite music and arts stage. Nothing beats enjoying local cold Kormoran beer while watching live jazzy performance on warm summer evening :)

This place has excellent location and seating indoors and outdoors. Opt for outdoor seating - you can sample the delightful atmosphere of the square, enjoy pleasant people watching. The food is delicious and moderately priced.

This is probably the best restaurant in town. Fast efficient and frienly service. Menus are provided in most main languages. Food is modestly priced considering you will eat in summer in the prestige location of the main Rynek opposite the municap bandstand stage. A great...meal of traditional Polish fare will cost in the region of £20 with 3 courses and a drink. In summer you can sit and watch the Poles promenading with their families aqnd dogs in the evening, and at weekends it is a great spot to watch the plentiful entertainment in the square. This is the place to be seen, and blankets are provided with every chaqir if the evenings are chilly.More

Had an evening dinner here then came back next day lunch as there was more on the menu we wanted to try, excellent food and fantastic value. Here in winter there was no outside seating but inside was typical 'old' Poland. Plenty of space between...tables and prompt service. Both meals were very generous portions but the additional 'sides' we ordered was too much, it was a struggle but we made it through. An evening flight home next day we wanted a lunch that would keep us going till next day so where better to go, another good meal for very little money again with excellent service.More

In the very city center you find this typical local restaurant. They have a lot of seats inside and outside. Even when it's raining you can sit outside. They offer a wide range of food and drinks. We had fish and white wine, booth was...good. Portions are big as always in Poland. Prices are ok!More

We have eaten at this restaurant many times & it never disappoints. The price of food compared to European restaurants are incredibly reasonable & generous. We sat with a musician playing Jazz music opposite in the square. Provided great accompaniment to the food, which was...very cooked & served by polite smiling waitress. The menu has wide tasting from soups, to meats to famous deserts the restaurant is very well known for including crepes, apple pies, ice cream. Olsztyn restaurants deserve more serious attention and this is one of our favourite together with Casablanca. They cater for wide European tastes but also traditional Polish dishes such as Pierogi to taste the pallet, sipping on range of cocktails or brilliant Polish Beers. Must eat at the Staromiejska!More

Tasty Polish national food (Warmia dumplings with fried onions and bacon), professional and fast service. Credit cards accepted.

Although the old-fashioned look does not encourage to come in, the food is really good. It is traditional Polish cuisine without traces of mixing it up with crazy or fashionable ingredients. The service is really good and the food is served really fast, however the...prices could be little bit lower.More
