My favorite place to eat in Białowieża. Very decent food, sometimes outstanding (especially "Opieńki mushrooms" soup!) and potato cake with forest mushroom sauce is a must. I like the staff and interrior which is vintage style.

Only 4 of 6 main courses available. More than 45 minutes of waiting for the dish. A short menu should ensure quick service and the availability of all dishes in my opinion.
Very nice place with regional food and drinks. Service and price also on a good level. Place in the middle of Bialowieza.
We visited here three times and enjoyed food and service every time. Very good service nice food great value and nice ambience. Nice outdoor seating (with a view of Storks nest) One of our favorites from this visit. Highly recomended.
Very good restaurant. Splendid starters (deer carpaccio with local cheese - 5 stars). Main courses tasty. Very kind service :)
This is one of the most advisable places in Bialowieza to have a good meal. It's not the first time I visit this place and it's always not disappointing. The menu is small but all I had the opportunity to appreciate in this place was...above average. The parking space is very small and if you come in a busy moment you might have to find a place a few streets away. The decoration is very charming providing a refined old imperial Russian style, the music goes well with the decoration with the Slavic mood but should be a bit less loud since in some musics can be a bit invasive. The service is good and professional, not to friendly but makes the job done as required in the Slavic culture that is quite formal what can be perceived by some westerners as very serious. The hygiene is ok despite of the continuous use of the same table towels, but I would change them after each use to not risk a spot or a hair from the previous client. This time I had a mixed salad with local white cheese that is served with a generous size, followed by a deer stew with green beans that was delicious and also of generous size. The cappuccino in the end was also quite good. In the end my impression about this place is that is the most balanced restaurant in Bialowieza regarding the overall quality in relation with the price. I will for sure return!More
We ended up eating here twice as it was just delicious. Well cooked game with hearty sauces was just what we needed on cold autumn evenings after long walks in the nature reserves. Surprisingly they even had our favourite Carmenere wine on the wine list,...what a treat. The layered cake was great too, not as sweet as I feared, just perfectMore
We had a great meal here. The decor was good as was the quality of the furnishings. Service was efficient and friendly. The waitress spoke good english. The menu was varied with lots of traditional Polish dishes.Plenty of game. The food came quickly and was...delicious. The toilets were clean and modern. Wifi was available and worked well. We paid by card. The bill was very reasonable. It was a very good meal and I recommend this place without hesitation.More
Unless you are patient, and do not mind waiting to be served, avoid this place. Otherwise you will be served great local dishes, and cuisine with a twist accompanied by local craft beer from Bialystok. The design in and outside are tasteful. the service polite,...but as mentioned, slooow. Recommended for a long evening in Białowieża.More
After spending a whole week in the city of Białowieża, I would say it was the best restaurant I have been during my stay. The relation quality-price is over expectation and it has all the choices when coming to types of meat, fish and typical...polish dishes. I would recommend it if you want to try the typical local food from Białowieża and/or Poland. Had to go even twice during the stay. Must visit!More
Nice food and a very Nice price. The waiter who does speak English makes nice recommendations. My girlfriend was delighted with her merengue pie
We had dinner here, and it was one of the best places we have eaten in Poland. I had the sunflower seed pancakes with wild mushroom sauce to start, and they were fantastic! Could be dinner with a salad, but I recommend sharing this starter...and having one of the fantastic mains. The pork ribs with fried sauerkraut was absolutely amazing. My friends had chicken noodle soup, which was reported as very good, and the honey mushroom soup which I tasted and was really delicious (not sweet, the “honey” refers to the type of mushroom). The buckwheat filled peirogi and the chicken breast served with vegetable filled crepes were also bit hits. Great, satisfying dinner.More
We spent almost a week in Białowieża and we initially wanted to try all local bars and restaurants. But after our first dinner in Pokusa we loved it so much that... we went back four more times!! :) Everything about this restaurant is just perfect:...- meals: all of those we tried were so high quality, so tasty and so nicely served that words cannot describe! Our personal winners are the deer stew and the orange cheesecake - menu: short, yet rich - service: quick and nice - prices: more than value for money. Prices are competitive not only with other restaurants in Białowieża but also with bars and the quality of food is uncomparable. Chapeau bas! And please keep this level because we are definitely coming back when only around Białowieża! And we do recommend to everyone! :)More
Great local restaurant... We have had 4 meals and breakfast. All excellent. Deer stew was just the best ever.... Nice friendly atmosphere. Waiters very accommodating.
We stayed at the adjoining B&B and had breakfast and dinner at this restaurant twice. We really enjoyed the local dishes. Inside the restaurant is very rustic and fits the area. They have a nice garden with outside seating as well. The service is friendly...but not the fastest. But the wait was worth it. We would come back here again.More
