Mała: my personal vote is 4 because of the dish that was tasty and not so common, but for that price we expected more
Duży: The food was not what I expected. Our waiter explained the dish to me, but it was nothing like described...in the menu. Pretty expensive too, but its typical to Indian places. I liked the Mango Icecream.More
Although the ambience is nice - we had a nice table hidden behind partial partitions - the countenance of all the staff can only be described as miserable where they stared at you and had nothing pleasant in their attitude The quality of the food...was well below par; acceptable to consume but certainly not yummy. Chicken in the TIkka Massalla was tough and the sauce was bland. Wouldn't go there againMore
It was near lunch time so the place was quite empty. We were greeted by the manager who quickly guided us to our seats and was very friendly. If you are polish then the prices would seem a bit pricey, but this an upmarket and...borderline fancy place so that’s not much of a bother. The food was excellent, and very filling! The portions were also big, it’s also right in the city centre so that’s great. I definitely would recommend.
Price for three people inc. drinks: 148PLN (~£30)More
It's not what British people would know as Indian food (but thats not a bad thing), but after many years it's one of the best places in Szczecin. We love coming there.
I like the curries and the very helpful staff. Always welcoming, Cheers
This is a nice indian restaurant which serves rather big portions: for the first time in an indian restaurant I couldn't finish it all. Especially the pekoras starter plate was huge.
My lamb curry was tasty, although less spicy and with less herbs than I...hoped for. I had attentive and friendly servers even though the place was rather full (many foreigners), I guess, attempting to speak a bit polish and a smile helped. The prices were a bit less than in Germany but quite expensive for Poland but it was worth it for me.
The location, right in the heart of downtown, was very convenient.
I'd recommend the restaurant and would come back here.More
Bombay Restaurant is situated at ul. Partyzantów 1 by the the corner of 3 Maja street. Partyzanków is only one block long and goes between Kazubska and 3 Maja streets parallel to Plac Zwyciesrwa to the north and Stoislawa to the south.
My sister and...I had really intended to visit the neighbouring Polish restaurant but we realised that Saturday night in a crowded and noisy place was not our cup of tea so we left and enterred Bombay Restaurant instead. We were happily seated in a quiet niche along the corridor into the main part of the restaurant.
We ordered a garden sallad to go with lamb karahi for two. To drink we had a big bottle of sparkling water and two glasses of Italian red wine. We also had dessert.
We did enjoy the meal very much. The total bill for the two of us was 162 PLN or about 38 euros. We were served by an attentive young lad who spoke very good English and yes, he got a tip.More
The food in this place was okay but far from the best I’ve tasted. However, the main issue is the terrible, indifferent service.
Firstly I order a large Cobra, yes says the waiter. Another waiter turns up with a minute bottle of Cobra. I ask,...is that a large Conra. No he says we don’t do large Cobra and walks off. This is a total rip off since this tiny bottle cost more than a large local beer. I don’t order any more drinks, not that the waiters once asked if we’d like more drinks!
Next we order 5 curries because there are 5 of us. We were going to order starters but the waiter says the meals are big so we don’t. After a considerable wait the meals turn up but there are only 4 meals for 5 people. I call the waiter back and ask him to explain. Oh he said the boss said that was the full order. No it wasn’t I say, how can it be there are 5 of us and 4 meals? What else did you order he asks. He then comes back with the missing meal 15 minutes later when everyone else has finished their meal. We won’t be back, ever.
Note to the owner: keep the chef, sack everyone else and try to improve the total lack of ambience.More
