We wished to eat lunch at a small restaurant with genuine polish food. Found this small place with home made pierogie. They were really tasty and very filling - so 6 Pr person was quite sufficient. It was also possible to order borsjtj soup on...the side. Absolutely worth a visit.More
This became my favorite place to eat in Szczecin because of its big variety of dumplings of very good quality and very low prices. You order at the food counter, get a number and sit in a nice seating area until the food is brought...to the table. I also liked their two types of Barscht soup and that they have other side dishes like tomato salad.
Sometimes the line is quite long and it takes a while to receive the food but otherwise service is good. They also have an English menu.More
Came in at 14h and there were only 2 tables, so very calm. I sat down, and the waitress passed by a couple of times without saying a word. I waited for 25 minutes, and she never even brought a menu. After this I just...walked out. Disgrace.More
We love pierogi, and regularly make them at home to freeze, but having pierogi cooked for you is nice for a change. After trying to order pierogi several times in Szczecin only to be told they were ‘sold out’, we decided to go to a...specialist pierogi restaurant. This is a casual café on the first floor, well sign posted and with lots of seating. Ordering is simple – choose your pierogi from the menu (German and English menus available) and quantity. The pierogi are then cooked to order having been prepared earlier. We each had an eight piece serving, two pieces of four different flavours - the spinach with cheese, potato with cheese (aka ruskie), mushroom and cheese, and broccoli and cheese (can you tell I like cheese?). It was served with onions, sour cream and a small salad, and each one pierogi was delicious. It was definitely worth the wait, and we will be back on our next visit to Szczecin. The bill for two servings of eight pierogi plus a soft drink each was 39.60zl / €9.50 (€4.25 each).More
This is very good small place to eat pierogi. You can choose between 30 kinds and mix them together. We've tried some kinds: Spanish, Ruskie (Polish specialty with cheese and potatoes), Mexican and Norwegian. 10 pieces costs 20 PLN and it's enough for almost all...people :-)
We liked almost all of them but Norwegian which had too much cumin inside.
The only problem is that place is very small and at the lunch time it's very hard to get a table.
The place is clean and service was perfect. I highly recommend this place.More
