I have visited Stara Komenda a few times now. The beer is excellent. Another bar that brews it's own excellent, tasty beer. Beer is a little more than some of the other places in Szczecin but you pay for quality. Food is pretty good here too and very reasonable. A place that I will always go back to. Great for... More

Very interesting brewery and eating house next to the Victoria Hotel. Beer and food with integrity...all in the atmosphere of an old police station...the menus are made up like secret police files and the condiments come in an old military mess tin..nice touch to accompany genuine food and beer and staff..excellent local patrons on both nights which says it all.......... The restaurant has a cost atmosphere with rustic furnitures. The food is really nothing to write about. The food is fine but also what I will put into the category ordinary. So button line is that it is a nice place, by the way with good beer, but don't go there for great food.

Looks and feels like brew pubs the world over: bare brick, copper vats and exposed pipework. The building is a converted barracks and the bar is themed as a post-war office with furnishings and decor to match. The food is hearty and the portions generous, three starters between two people was a filling meal. The beer is more varied than... More

Quite nice experience with the beer tasting. The dark beer is heaven, the wheat is OK, and the pils is quite awful. (my opinion, but I am not the biggest beer drinker) But what I saw on the table next to us is what will make me go back there next time to eat. It looked like pork meat with... More

Beer is very nice, food delicious. I would only suggest the waiter to smile more and be more open to the clients

Really nice, local place not to be missed. Fine service and big serwings! Try the local food, ask for guidance if needed. Dark lager is great, 1 liter is not too much - if you are a bit thirsty.

I was very disappointed there. Place looks very nice that's the only plus. Beer was pretty average. But the biggest disappointment was the food. We some starters and mains. Salat with salmon was unbeatable. Salmon was very bad and dry. Avocado was so hard that you couldn't eat it. We called the waiter and told her that. I think she... More

Food here was very simple yet very tasty. My husband and I had lunch here days while staying in the nearby ibis hotel. We found this to be good value for money by our standards. Only negative hard to understand the beer and wine list, wine I ordered very sweet and limited selection.....
