Very cosy (traditionally Polish) restaurant with good food and good service. All to very resonable prices. One of the best I have been to in Stettin.

I love the polish soup rosu (chicken soup with noodles) more than anything (accept for pirogi with cheese is another delicatese). I didn't go for the more expensive dishes and ordered it together with bread. When I did get the soup it was not warm and without bread and I didn't get any chance of getting bread. I don't think... I've been a few times in "Pod Kogutem" and can highly recommend it. The food is really fresh and delicious. The soups are excellent. Same for salmon, herring and all kind of meats. The service is also good. It's not the cheapest restaurant (around 10 EUR average for the main course) but definitely worth price.

I used to live in Poland for 7 years and since I moved to Germany, zurek is what I miss the most. So, before going to Szczecin I did some homework on where to have the best zurek (and other Polish food as well) and this place seemed to be the one. However, the reality didn't meet up with my... After getting two recommondations, I just had to check out this joint. Was the rumour right? Oh boy it was! We started off with a greek salad split 3ways, and it was plenty. We had further pirogs and turkey. And I can safely say its one of the juiciest tenderest turkeys I have ever had. The service was spot on... More

I tried the typical Polish Bigos, served in a loaf of bread, very tasty. The wild boar with mushrooms as main course was even better. The service is quick, friendly and fluent in English, prices are okay.

Everything was EXCELLENT!!! The ambient, the decoration, and especially the food!!! Everything perfect!!! Perfect traditional kitchen. The only small problem is that you must wait a little bit more.... But all the rest can pay you back!!!

Nicely appointed interior designed to look like an old mountain cabin. Service is generally good and professional. Food has always been great serving authentic classical Polish dishes. I recommend perogi or the wild boar. Downside: it can getquite hot and stuffy in the afternoon sun.
