I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a classy dining experience. Great food, amazing interior and polite staff. Also the place on it's own is worth visiting as it's a historic gem hidden in one of the main streets of Szczecin.

Booked this restaurant for an official dinner for a group of 50 people. Overall a very nice experience. The food was delicious even if sometimes lukewarm... that's where we "land" at service part. Unfortunately language issues started already with the printed menu in Polish (note, the group consisted of 85% of foreigners), then the majority of waiters didn't speak much English. The service was a bit disorganised and slow extending the dinner to 3 hours.
The food part however did not fail (with the exception of the food temperature).
Shall they improve in this area, I can recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

Hidden away in an old villa, might be best to let a taxi driver find the address, you'll find one of Szczecins finest restaurants. We decided for courses and the wine suggested wine accompanied to the dishes. All the way from the starter to the desert we were impressed by the dishes and we ate with taste and eyes. Wine was well picked and really enhanced the experience in almost every dish. Some mismatch but not that bad. Restaurant is stylish, but not very well visited at the time of our visit. Waitress was knowledgeable and professional. I will hopefully definitely visit again.

Last weekend I've visited Restaurant Matejki 8 with my family. The building is very beutiful and unique, but unfortunately its hard to find the way to it ;( The food was excellent, we've enjoyed it very much! I recommend this restaurant for everybody and every occasion!

I dined here with friends and family for my birthday. It was an amazing experience with absolutely divine food. Couldn't have been more impressed with the food, wine and customer service. The waiting staff really were great and made my evening very special! Will definitely be back

I came here a month ago for a business dinner. The food was stunning, served with a great selection of regional wines. The service was great as well, our waitress was super nice and eloquent. I would definitely go back.

Matejki 8 in Szczecin it's not only the restaurant with the very nice menu but also the place where you can rent a room. Building as a Villa is from 1882 and the room has a fantastic atmospher. So clean, big enough with very comfortable bed and so tasty breakfast. Good value for money!

While visiting szczecin over christmas we chose to come to matejki 8. Warmly welcomed into this family owned and run business the food was delightful. We will come back!!
