2nd time we eat here this week.
We ordered:
- 1 dish with dumpling w/chanterelle, onion, bacon (6 pcs for 38PLN)
- 1 dish of pork schnitzel w/boiled potato, sauerkraut and pickle (PLN 46)
- 0.5L Amber Słote (17PLN)
- 0.4L Cydr "lubelski" (12PLN)
- Dessert. Caramelized cherry with Cognac and vanilla ice cream. (22PLN)
The dumplings were the best my wife had tasted down here with lots of filling and flavour. Top grade.
The pork schnitzel was large but a little dry. Lots of food on the plate with potatoes and sauerkraut. It is powerful food. But together it was good.
The dessert was lovely. Mature taste with the cognac and lots of cherries. A lovely fresh dessert after a heavy dinner.
The last time we were here, we ordered beef jerky and pork knuckle. It tasted absolutely lovely. I would highly recommend beef jerky or pork knuckle as they are my favorites here.
My wife thought the dumplings were the best, so we disagree somewhat there.
But the place is great, with good service and ok prices. Not cheap, but not expensive either.

The food here was really good! The kids loved the fish and chips, I had a schnitzel and my husband the crispy duck. We orderered camembert for starters. The portions were too big for us, but it was so jummy we worked hard to eat it all :) The music didnt`t quite complement the medieval atmosphere, however we can really recommend this place!

My boyfriend and I had dinner here tonight and had an excellent experience.
The food and service was excellent. The local beer was a pleasure after a beach day.
I highly recommend dining there since you will experience great food and hospitality in a quiet environment.

The dishes were a little more expensive than some other nearby restaurants but we liked the look of the place so wanted to give it a try.
The food came out very quickly with my main arriving whilst I was still having my soup starter. My main was ok, but I had fish soup and whilst I’m not a chef, it felt like all the leftovers had been thrown in, plenty of veg, but olives and pickled onions too, seemed odd and virtually no fish. Service wasn’t exactly with a smile either.

Our visit to this restaurant was highly disappointing. The waiter's rude and aggressive behavior was evident right from the beginning. After we sat down, he returned within 3 minutes, pressuring us to order drinks almost immediately. When we requested a few more minutes to decide on our order, he rolled his eyes and refused to leave until we ordered drinks. Moreover, the online menu did not accurately reflect the actual menu at the restaurant. The actual menu was considerably shorter, and the prices were higher than what we had anticipated. We decided to leave without ordering any food. While the decoration was praiseworthy, the service was abysmal, earning a 0-star rating. We also noticed that he was rude with another table of 5 guests refusing to help them with their bill in very aggressive manner.

A new tourist trap!!
It could happen that it is because it is the end of the season:
Nonchalant treatment, the food is like the absolute worst interpretation of Polish traditional food. Good beer and nice environment otherwise disaster.

The menu does not match the notice in front of the restaurant and resembles a canteen menu.
The waiter was absolutely overwhelmed with 8 guests in the room and us (three people) outside, which he also expressed to us unabashedly. After such a “welcome” we left the restaurant.

We were there for lunch. It has a lovely cosy terrace. The food is absolutely delicious, the waiter, who spoke English (!), was super attentive and sweet made the whole experience even better. The menu is very reasonably priced and portion sizes are enormous.

We visited with our children aged 8 and 9 and was blown away! Food was absolutely amazing, even the children didn't opt for the children's menu. It's small and cosy and quirky decorated. Don't cheat yourself of this great experience and make sure you visit.

Every meal is made with love. I have not enjoyed such wonderful Polish cooking since I was a boy. We had lunch or dinner there every one of the 3 days we spent in Sopot because the food is just that good. And great value for the price charged.
No patron is treated like a stranger.

The food was very good, there are several options to choose from and we were also happy with the size of the portions. Very good price for the quality. The atmosphere of the room and the staff were very nice too. We didn't book in advance and managed to get a table but a few minutes after we wouldn't be able to so perhaps look into booking in advance.

This is a typical Polish restaurant with a traditional interior. We had a 2 course dinner and everything was very good. Choice however was limited as they ran out of some food after a busy day, and it would have been better if they had mentioned this whilst handing out the menus (vs at the time of the order). Of course this also means they work with fresh products, we would go back.

Me and my husband tried to get a table one afternoon, but had to make a reservation for the next evening since the resturant was full. It was absolutely worth the wait! The interior is charming and rustic, tables have "self-picked" local wild flowers, really cute! We were served by a man (the owner?), who made us feel very welcome and he gave fantastic service and recommendations. We ordered a freshly made tomato and cheese salad as starter, super nice. For main we had the crispy duck and the beef cheeks..... Oh la-la! It was so delicious, and a real big serving. We both struggeled finishing it. For dessert we had home made apple pie, one of the best I have eaten! Highly recommend this place, and remember to make reservations since it's very popular!

Only 3 weeks ago I left a fantastic review for this place and released a YouTube blog advertising the place, just a couple of weeks later I returned with a group of 6 rather than being along. The service was disgusting! The staff had no patience, the food was awful and I was embarrassed to have returned with a group. I regret sending others to such a place. The YouTube vlog has been removed and I regret ever sending others to such a awful place. For any who visited I am truly sorry.

Really good food with cooked green accessories, lovely service and an environment that we do not really find "at home". Ox cheek, baked salmon and baked eggplant were on our plates tonight. We can really recommend this place.
