We visited this restaurant last year and had a decent experience, so thought we’d come back for some breakfast. What a mistake. Despite it being very quiet, we were ignored for 10 minutes from several members of staff until I had to ask for service,...and then had to wait another couple of minutes before the waitress begrudgingly ambled over. The food came out in good time, by what looked like a kitchen porter, but my son was served plain pancakes without any accompaniments. We had no cutlery and had to wait a couple more minutes as our food went cold before any was brought out. I’d ordered the English breakfast. It was terrible. Although I’d asked for toast I was given sliced up loaf, not toasted. The mushrooms had clearly been sat for a very long time as they were rubbery and shrivelled up, definitely not cooked to order. The sausages where disgusting, maybe there was a special offer on in Biedronka because that’s the kind of quality we are talking about, rubbery, tasteless and cheap. The eggs where undercooked and the bacon was inedible, like the mushrooms it was not cooked to order, it had been sat under a heat lamp and was dry, chewy and disgusting. If this wasn’t bad enough, while my son was eating (I’d already stopped at this point) the waitresses were talking away and happily swearing (my son is bilingual and I understand quite a lot of the Polish language), not even trying conceal their bad language in front of us. When our food was collected, despite my food being hardly touched, we weren’t asked how our food was. My girlfriends meal was acceptable, but not great. The staffs attitude was terrible, apart from the young guy who looked like he worked in the kitchen and brought out food out who was polite. Considering it was very quiet it makes it even worse that despite having more than enough staff to serve us we had this experience. My food had been cooked way in advance, was very cheap quality food and appeared to have been cooked and put on the plate by someone who had no idea what they were doing, I really hope they don’t call themselves a chef. We definitely won’t be coming back again, and I’d advice others to find somewhere else to go, there is loads of choice is Sopot.More

I am surprised reading all bad reviews. I got there by chance today and had a lovely lunch . Everything we had with my friend was delicious and fresh. We felt very good after a good we ate. Our waitress was lovely and gave us...good advices. She was super helpful but not all people working there are like that . Other woman was rude and was pretending we didn’t ask as for her help . Food was served quick . Prices are very good as for Sopot lower than any other places I have been to. I would definitely come back .More

Avoid this restaurant because of the waiters' unfair practices. Expensive and nothing to recommend. There are better and cheaper places.

In the Orange Beach you will eat breakfast for 3 Euro. Not bad. The restaurant is located on the beach 800 meters from the Pier in Sopot in the direction of Gdansk

I loved the setting and not only that, the food, service and staff are exceptional! Recommend it 100%! The fried pan fish with potato pancakes is really good. The place is not only dog friendly but also kid friendly. In fact the hotel owners recently...rescued a dog that they had found there. They put up an ad on Facebook and asked their friends to share the dog's picture and thanks to this there was a happy ending: someone in Facebook recognized the dog and called her friend the owner and she came to pick it up at the hotel! It was a nice experience to see. Congratulations to the pet loving owners!More

we went to this restaurant for breakfast. around 70 percent of the tables were occupied. 6 waiters. after half an hour we got coffee and lemonade, not what we ordered. the waitress was dissatisfied with the fact that we paid attention to it. We did...not receive the ordered breakfast. after 40 minutes we gave up. total chaos. We do not recommend. dirty tables. incompetent staff. never again .!!!!More

The restaurant is next to the beach. They serve good food the whole day. The staff is very friendly. Dogs are welcome, which is important to us as we walk our dogs in the beach on winter

This restaurant has a great location right by the very popular beach, walking & bicycle path. We tried to have our dinner at Bar PRZYSTAN specialising in fish dinners. There were at least 20-25 people waiting to be seated. We had no pstiyto wait so...we ventured in this restaurant. Matause welcomes us with a true host. We chose to dit inside as we were not dressed for a cool evening. The restaurant was very specious, well furnished, high ceiling & fair decorations. When busy I sure this place looks great. I ordered 200g of herring with apple & Shallot. It was very well prepared, presented & was delicious. My main dish was pasta with spicy chicken.it arrived while I was in middle of my starter, afraid that it would get cold before I could ginish eating my starter, i asked Mataous to take back the dish to the kitchen. Little did I know that when It was served again that it would be dry & teastles as it was kept under hot lamp without any supervision. I complaint but there was no suggestions to correct it. Apple cider by Dibrondki was my drink of the evening. My friend had pumpkin panecake & steamed cod, both these dishes were very delicious. The cod was fresh & well prepared. Portion size of this Cod was Small & very disappointing. There was no follow up by the wait staff or his supervisor to find out about our experience. Due to this poor experience we decided to have our coffee/ tea & dessert dome place else, plus because of this experience I had my daily breakfast at Billy’s The restaurant toilets were in a mess. I was told that the person responsible for keeping it clean had gone home & there was no one to clean it. Suggestions: Train your staff, have a supervisor who is accountable for her/ his duties & guest satisfaction.More

On our first of six full days in Sopot, we decided to stop here en route back to our hotel. My husband and I both felt a little hungry, but not overly so. But, it had started to drizzle so we popped in for a...bite. Easily accessible from the path that goes along the beach into the main area of Sopot. A nice location, as others have mentioned. We weren't sure if we seated ourselves or waited to be sat. We soon clocked that just sitting was the way to go. We sat outside under the huge umbrellas and after a few minutes, were brought a menu that was in Polish with English translation. I am unfortunately allergic to fish and the menu had so many wonderful fish items. The whitebait looked delicious, but we opted for single served pizzas. The menu does clearly state that the food can take up to forty minutes with even longer times during holidays. Our pizzas both came out fairly quickly and were very nice indeed. We had two IPA beers and a chilled pear vodka. The entire meal was less than £20. Great value. Our waitress was lovely, very attentive. I just wish I took her name! So, considering some of the poor reviews, we had a very nice experience.More
