The food in this restaurant is delicious, the menu has many interesting compositions, everything is beautifully served, fresh and perfectly prepared, great desserts complement a good meal, professional service and a pleasant interior, I highly recommend it!

Visited here on a Friday night and the food was absolutely superb. Service was very attentive but the restaurant was very very quiet so he only had us to serve. Went here on the advice of TA. Not disappointed. Would have loved to have had better weather and light to have enjoyed the location, that’s the elements fault not the restaurant! We all had steak, ordered medium came out rare, told the waiter, brought back...to the kitchen, no issues. Food was very tasty and in my option excellent value for money, especially for the quality. The Secretariat restaurant does require a little effort to find, being located inside and next to a show jumping ground. The name is apt as Secretariat was arguably the best American race horse ever. It is located just one short rail stop south of Sopot...on the SKM rail line and just 100m from the rail station (Sopot Wyscigi, Hippodrome station) The effort though is very well worth it. Whatever criteria you use, this is a very good restaurant. Food, interior and staff are all of the highest standard. So high, that we made the rail trip twice. We were delighted on both visits.More

I have been in this restaurant with some friends of meine and it was a wondeful choince!!! First of all very warm welcome from a staff and all of them were speaking fluent English. Second of all restaurant looks amazing, set up of the place...is awesome. I have no words to discribe a taste of all of the dishes which we had. Everything was just delicious! Service was fast, friendly and very helpfull. Fully recommand!!! We will be back very soon, for sure!!! I almost forgot! Very good spot becouse you dont need to look for a place to park your car. I visited Secretariat for a snack and a coffee. The restaurant is located on the hippodrome, away from crowded Sopot. Quiet and peaceful place seems to be perfect for business talks or an evening date. The restaurant closes at 9pm.

Secretariat is a little out of the center of Sopot and not that easy to find, unless you know where the horsejumping ground of Sopot is located, as the restaurant is located on its premises. Service is very friendly and prompt. We had a herring...in marinated beetrood sauce and duck liver paté as starters - that was very enjoyable. Main courses were halibut with a well done mushroom risotto and rabbit leg. We wanted to order wine from the wine list but then discovered that the restaurant also sells wine from the estate of Sting in Tuscany, so we got a bottle of white wine from that......More

Well, in short it’s a family kid-friendly place with nice spacious interior and good food. We expected something more based on elevated ratings. The food was good to very good but not great (we had cheese platter, herring, steak tartare, halibut, rabbit) - and the...big letdown was wines. No good wine by the glass. The ones on offer at 11-12 zloty per glass really detracted from the quality of the food. So if you expect a family place at reasonable prices it’s a good choice - if you’re looking for something a bit more special and you happen to like wine - go somewhere else.More

This is not my first visit here!!! Had pleasure dining at "Secretariat" before and food was outstanding! This time no different than the other! Still fabulous atmosphere and delicious food! I would highly recommend to everyone... Plus "Tatar" is the jummiest I ever had! My...husband fall in love with herrings too! I also have to mention that service and management was highly professional, yet at the same time they made me and my husband fell verse very comfortable! Definitely will go back again! We spent a lovely time having lunch at Secretariat. The waiter made both adults and kids welcome, and helped with menus promptly. The food was incredible, with shrimps in butter sauce being a highlight! We will most definitely come back here again on our next...visit to Sopot.More

Enjoying a sunny afternoon watching riders and horses competing in the 2019 Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup at Sopot Hipodrom, I got hungry, and in a break between the 3rd and 4th competition sections I decided to pop over the Secretariat. Conveniently located at, and overlooking, the...equestrian centre, and just behind the show jumping bleachers, I felt I had time for a quick and tasty meal.  I ordered a refreshing glass of Prosseco (of course!), and then waited for my starter while viewing the televised leader-board inside the restaurant. My first course was the bread-crumbed calamari with a yoghurt dipping sauce. It was delicious and settled my appetite while the next course was prepared. I had chosen the roast beef salad as a main, and I was far from disappointed! It was wonderfully unctuous and satisfying. Tender, chilled slices of roast beef sat atop black olives, capers, caramelized sunflower and balsamic sauce, along with a few scrumptious fried goats cheese medallions lightly coated in bread-crumbs. The table service was courteous and the kitchen service was reasonably speedy - necessary on a busy competition weekend - and was able to return to the equestrian ring in time for the final competition round of the day. More
