The only reason I say "almost perfect" is because I am used to crispier onion bhajis. Seriously though, the food is quite tasty. The decor could be updated, the staff was very friendly. We enjoyed the food very much.

Very welcoming, tasty food very spicy! More then average so if you are used to other restaurant standards better to ask for soft spicy ( level 1 of 3) i tried level 2 and it was great but maximum i could stand, can't imagine how would be level 3:) next time I'll try !! Recommended!

My wife and I snuck off for a date night. Dinner and a movie only this time it was a movie and then dinner at Taj Mahal. We love Indian food and have eaten at dozens of Indian restaurants around the globe. This one in Gdynia has some nice Nan breads and decent flavored curries. I had the Pałąk Paneer... More

Nice place, very friendly and professional staff but most of all fantastic Indian dishes for curry fanatics. A must in Gdynia

The first impression when I came in wasn't good, the indoors were cold and it was not cosy at all. To be fair it didn't look like other Indian restaurants (which is rather a drawback IMHO). I decided to give them a try anyway and I ordered Murgh Tikka. It was really worth to stay! The food (including starter and... More

We found this place from TripAdvisor. Otherwise we couldn't find it, because the location was out of the city center. The kids love the food and the naan was very tasty. The staff was very helpful and nice. You should also visit this place. :)

As I curry lover the Taj delivers great food at a very good price. Only negative is that the place could do with a bit of a make-over otherwise it would have been 5 stars. Staff were superb.

We always visit this restaurant when we are in Gdynia and it never disappoints! The kids enjoy the chicken pakora and the mild chicken dishes and the adults go for murgh palak and Chana masala (ask to have it spicy if you like it). The staff and owner are extremely friendly and helpful. We highly recommend it!

They probably serve the best real Indian food in Poland. And is not just my own rate, I had dinner with an Indian customer and He said that it was real Indian good food! Also very well served, good and kind service, wide menu including with vegetarian and vegan dishes. It's a must if you are willing to enjoy other... More

I've lived in the UK and US, and visited Asia and I canc really say this food brings me back to the best of my travels. The tastes are perfectly combined - and If you have some specific idea of what you want - they will go out of their way to give you something off the menu to satisfy... More
