Myself and my wife visited this restaurant after a period of 18 months on recommendation of a friend who told us that there was a new menu and we should try, we were greeted by a waitress and shown to a table, and given menus...and a drinks list, We decided to share a carafe of house red wine , we decided to share a starter of Egg Plant followed by a Lasagne and a Pizza our waitress came to our table after 15 minutes with two portions of cold Cucumber Soup which we tried but neither of us liked, Our starter arrived followed by our mains everything was good apart from the time between courses, also we were both surprised we were not offered any bread with our meal, a first for me in an Italian Restaurant. I finished with a coffee, overall we left disappointed with our experience.More

I went just once but my friend goes there regularly. Very clean and charming restaurant close to the sidewalk by the sea in Gdynia (and to the main street). Service was excellent and restaurant was full. Our waitress was very friendly and funny and the...food was excellent; we ordered vegetable broth and then beef tartar and spaghetti aglio oglio peperoncino and it was all really delicious and served gourmet style. Very good prices for gourmet dishes served so beautifully and for such a great customer service. Highly recommend and will be back for sure.More

Finally I made it through the doors of Fino Osteria, though almost by accident, feeling just a little peckish after emerging from a Sunday afternoon screening of the wonderful Macedonian documentary "Honeyland", across the street at the Gdynia Film Centre. Looking through the menu at...my pavement table, my tastebuds nudged me towards the frito misto starter, plus grappa and espresso. Maybe that sounds like a strange combo, but it proved memorable. While waiting for the dish, I was brought a beautifully delicate and creamy amuse-bouche, in which a little softened radicchio was moistened with green olive oil and fortified with a nut crumble. The frito misto starter consisted of small portions of herring, mackerel, broccoli, zucchini and courgette encased in the lightest tempura batter imaginable, garnished with jewel-like drops of a lemon gel, and accompanied by a light and mild herb salsa. Totally divine. The service too, was charming and efficient. It's time I reserved a table for dinner...More

We spent a pleasant afternoon at the restaurant on a family dinner. After changing the name and menu, the restaurant has gained a lot. Phenomenal starters, especially the delicious shrimp in a unique sauce. Main dishes varied and served in a proper amount. Service impeccable...in addition, smiling and with a sense of humor, which adds only the charm of the place. Delicious crème brûlée.More

This was our first time in this recently opened gem, but we'll definitely come back for more. The food is exquisite, Italian-style with a local twist. The atmosphere is relaxed, so the "osteria" in the name is spot on. The waiting staff are helpful, polite...and smiling. We had beef cheeks, tagliatelle bolognese style, and for desserts: crème brûlée and panna cotta. All of these were great and the desserts in particular were fabulous. Highly recommended. They have wine by the glass, bottle and house wine by glass or carafe.More
