Firstly, this restaurant is well-located, near to Wrzeszcz Station and two huge shopping centres - Galeria Bałtycka and Metropolia. This is the reason why I can tell about easy-access. Although you are almost in the centre of big Gdańsk district, Wrzeszcz, you don't feel typical...city problems here.
Cheap, extensive menu, with a wide range of meals. Everything well sorted, so you won't have a problem with quick finding vegetarian pizzas or bio-pastas. Menu written in polish, english and italian. I recommend a salmon in banana's leaf with rice as well as a lemonade. There is also possibility to drink alcohol here.
Nice and fast service.More
The place is rather spacious, tables inside and outside. On a Wednesday evening, dinner time there is ONE bartender and ONE waitress! It takes ages to be served not to mention several mistakes with food order. We went there for dinner with a 2yr old....We ordered starters and mains. After 45min waiting for any food we were told that it takes 40min for our mains to be made... great, but where are the starters...the waitress thought that everything should come together. so we got steaks calamari pasta and bruschetta in one go...after waiting for over an hour. Same story happened 3 days before, the wait for the food, drinks was just ridiculous. Just hire more people! The food is good!More
I arrived at this establishment on 6/23/2018 at approx. 22:30hrs for a late night meal. I only went there late because the posted hours were until midnight. I asked the very polite and kind lady at the bar if it was too late to get...something to eat. She said that there shouldn't be a problem. She asked me to be seated and bought me a menu. As I was looking over the menu, she went to where I assumed the kitchen was located. She returned and told me yes, the chef is very good and prepares the meals quickly so there would be no problem. As I was sitting there about to make my selection, a guy whom I assumed was the manager (I hope someone like him is not the owner), gave me this disgusting look as he walked past me and I sat waiting to place my order. He immediately walked over to the lady who had given me the menu and they began a dialogue in Polish. It was obvious by his constant glare towards me that it wasn't about the fact that I was getting a late meal. He obviously wanted to convey the message that he did not want me in the establishment. He said something to the lady and as he walked away, she was forced to come over and tell me ''the manager says the kitchen is closed now'. To me, she was clearly uncomfortable with the information this coward had forced her to relay to me. Once she said this, I was upset, but I simply got up from the table and walked out. Oh, I forgot to mention that I am African American. There was more than 1hr and 30 minutes before the restaurant closed. If it were truly about the kitchen being closed, a good manager would have explained this to me him or herself. But it was not that at all. Bigotry rears its ugly head again. I have been here before. No, not in this particular restaurant but in this particular situation--being denied a service for no other reason than the color of my skin. If I had a way to contact the owner, I would. He or she should be aware that the biased treatment of certain potential customers is practiced. Unless this is something that is allowed and tolerated in Poland. SMH.More
This bistro has a very limited menu so we were not exactly spolied for choice. We ordered the cream of tomato soup - bland! My three lady companions ordered the lasagne con spinaci while I ordered the lasagne alla bolognese - bland! We then, more...in hope than with any real sense of expectation, ordered the torta al ciocollato and it turned out to be an outstanding dessert. We all wondered whether the cook and the confectioner were two completely different people. Recommendation? Eat somewhere else but go to the bistro for your dessert!More
I was here with group of friends. Very good food and staff as well. Nice place, but it missing something to be excellent and unique place. Just put some small details, something unique, and will be excellent. For now it is just very good, because...is like hundreds other places.More
We were staying at an Airbnb close to Bistro Kuznia but arriving a little late from the UK when the kitchen closes at 10pm. I contacted them in advance and Agnieszka was extremely helpful by email to ensure that we could still have our meals...as planned.
The food was absolutely delicious. We all four of us enjoyed our supper very much. Two of us had the Scoglia pasta which was so tasty that I'm still thinking about it 3 days later!
I can recommend Bistro Kuznia to all for eating in and also for takeaway as the food is exceptionally fine and very good value.More
Altough the place is not so big it is possible to fit in with the pushchair. The pizza was great and it is possible to have a draft prosecco. Service is quick, polite and efficient.
Excellent for the quick and very tasty eat if you...are nearbyMore
