Delightfully off the beaten track, Zabusia is a real gem of a place. The food is delicious, the atmosphere warm and welcoming, and the service personal and friendly. I reckon you always need to eat somewhere twice to get the measure of a place and...the food; after all, anyone can have an off-day ... or an uncharacteristic on-day! Zabusia stood the test with flying colours. We both went for the same basic meal: soup, followed by fish and (in my case) golonka. The idea was to eat Polish traditional food and I wasn't at all disappointed. I can't eat potatoes; our host went away and came out with some special cabbage as a substitute. The food was delicious and the atmosphere great. The restaurant is family-friendly with a children's play area. Can't be faulted. It's the sort of place we'd happily eat at every day/night. This was a very clean and spacious restaurant. The waiter was polite and obliging. Our food was good and nicely presented. Good value for money.

Have dined here several times and very good each time. This last time we ordered duck and golonka for take away. Very tasty!

Zabusia is situated a bit off town (Gdansk) in a residential neighbourhood, however, once you find your way to the modern and fashionably decorated restaurant, you will discover a real jewel both as to the delicious dishes and the welcoming and helpful staff. We had...a wonderful mushroom soup and the best steak tartare I've ever had for starters. Then we had duck and pork loin prepared sous vide and it was all very delicious. I could not eat more, but my wife could not help ordering a dessert in the shape of pear mousse and believe me, I envied her at the bare looks of the dessert. The taste was even better. Value for money cannot express this tremendous experience. Try and see!More
