About
The oldest restaurant in Gdańsk. In the interwar period, then called Kubicki Cafe International, the restaurant functioned as a night café and it was one of the trendiest places at that time in Gdańsk. Kubicki Restaurant still receives wide recognition not only among the residents of Gdańsk, but also among the visitors from all over the world. Exquisite cuisine, unique atmosphere enriched with performances of piano singers are undeniable reasons why this place is worth visiting. This is one of the last places where the spirit of This City has been preserved.

We really enjoyed this restaurant on the river. The food was very good, the setting on the river was beautiful, the piano music added to the ambiance. I had the pork knuckle with cabbage and potatoes. The meat was fork tender and dipped in horseradish...and mustard, divine. My husband liked his fish, but liked beans and spinach better. I would go to this restaurant again.More

It was not my first time in this restaurant. Restaurant has great location, garden with view on Motława river and inside beautiful decoration in city's style. Service is kind and food really good.

Service absolutely appalling. Waiters really rude which is such a shame because it is a beautiful location. What an unwelcoming start to the holiday.

This restaurant was right next to my hotel so I popped in for lunch as soon as I arrived in Gdańsk. I had the pork knuckle which was very good. The portion was extremely generous as well for the price.

Lovely duck, delicious Soups . Huge serving of duck . Nice little complimentary entree of bread and pickle etc. I doubt the duck can be surpassed in taste.

We were told by a bartender, this was the place to eat. Was he right, we would recommend getting reservations, there is a lot of seating, but it is a busy place. We had a reservation for 6pm, we believe you could drop in at...that time, but no later. We came to eat and we were not disappointed. I had their listed specialty Pork Knuckle, it was delicious, served with sauerkraut and roasted potatoes. It was a huge meal, I should have taken some back to the hotel. My wife had the duck, she loved it. I had a bite, it was so moist, served with a sweet / sour cabbage. We were able to take some back, because there was so much. Give this place a try, with drinks it was less than $50 for both of us.More

I was made to feel like I was the only patron in the restaurant. Delicious cold starter of pickles and spreads, followed by fish soup and poached cod. I couldn't ask for anything less. The dishes were perfect and the service was amazing. I look...forward to my next culinary adventure with this restaurant.More

Lovely restaurant. Classy interior, professional staff and great food. I had soup and then fish and everything was fresh and very well flavoured. Timely delivery etc. Nothing not to like. Maybe could have had a wider selection of wines by the glass for the solo...diner.More

Nice place with classy Gdańsk cuisine. We went out for the fine dining evening and decided to stick to traditional tartare for the starter - highly recommend since the delivery of the dish looks truly impressive! As for the main course, we chose cod with...vegetables, pork leg with potatoes and duck with red cabbage, accompanied with red Spanish wine. All the dishes were good, the meals were big and the food was of a high quality. I must admit, that meat was definitely a better option than a fish. Overall we were happy with our dinner. I rated 4 starts because due to my subjective point of view, dishes were a bit old school, though as I mentioned above, one can name them classy as well. Definitely a must visit location to taste the traditional recipes of Gdańsk cuisine.More

We have not even been inside since the owner let us wait outside for 1.5 hour and not offering something to drink. He told us that we have not made a reservation but we surely did. Maybe the food is good but the service is...definitely not.More

Nice restaurant in the harbor of Gdańsk, just outside of the crowds in the harbor. Although the many party boats remind you of the crowd! Polish food with a modern twist. Make a reservation, it’s a popular place.

The restaurant has a resident pianist who plays most nights. As advised by others, make sure you book a table in advance.

It's pretty reasonable. Most of the main course meat dishes cost between €10 to €15.
