Must try spot for food & beer!

We were on the fence about whether or not to eat here on our Polish vacation, but are so happy we did! The new Mexican menu is amazing!! The prawn tacos were presented beautifully and absolutely delicious! Also tried and loved the chicken fajitas, enchiladas and the empanada! We tried two out of their three beers and thought they were perfect!

Fantastic

We had some kind of fish stew and chicken rolls. Both were very good. Above my expectations of this average looking pub kind of facility. Hard drinks were very good to go with this food. Would recommend to everyone.

Brewery bar with a great selection of beers - and the best grzane pivo (mulled beer) in town. A bit noisy when busy. Great service!

Went in with great expectations for great beer...... they had three different beers to offer; lager , wheat beer and dark lager . You can get the same limited selection in any roadside cafe and they don’t call themselves brewery restaurants . Dull interior and not a cozy place. The beer glasses were cute though .

Good place to eat and drink

The beer is very good and even that the menu card is not really big you can find something. I had the Hering and it tasted good. The service is good and you can sit outside and watch the people going by.

Three friends and I visited this place on a wednesday evening. We arrived at 9pm and were able to order quickly. After over an hour of waiting I asked the waiter whether our food is going to arrive before they close. He told me it would be served in the next seven minutes. Another eighteen minutes passed before we were served our meals. We asked for a reduction in price after this impertinence. He rigorously denied any compensation and only said, that "waiting times of up to an hour during especially busy times" were mentioned on the menu. After we waited 90 minutes. On a relaxed wednesday night. At 9pm. Without him informing us at any point. Because the food had been already prepared, we decided to eat it, so that it wasn't thrown away. I had the pork neck and it tasted like from a bad canteen. The other three friends were also displeased with the dry and chewy meat and tasteless vegetables on their plates. Having a rude waiter that doesn't manage to serve the food in time can be bad luck, but the kitchen serving bad food for a high price isn't a temporary thing. Avoid this place!

Extremely disapointed

We stopped in here last night with thoughts of a good beer and some snacks. What a major disappointment! Belgian chips and nachos we ordered. They were potato chips fresh out of a bag and the nachos were the same. Disgraceful. I think they were 16zloty and 19 zloty each. We could have went to a market and bought the same for less and at least not felt ripped off. It was a joke that this was served and represented as it was on the menu. I'm still pissed that we paid for this. The beer (wheat and pilsner) we had was adequate that's about it. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. I don't think Ive been this let down by a place I've picked with trip advisor as I was with this. I wonder if management will respond with the usual "sorry it didn't meet your expectations. I hope we can make it up to you next time" there won't be a next time as this was the last evening in Gdansk and we wouldn't waste our time with a return visit to this brewery.

a beer in the" road of beers"

We visited this bar because at 11.pn was open ( almost everything is closed that time).The pils browar piwna beer was not something special and i didnot like the cherry beer .It has a balcony and you can sit outside on the road which is pleasant

Friendly service...

I just wanted to sit in the sun for dinner and this was just outside my hotel. The prices seemed reasonable for a touristy location. The waiters were helpful and friendly. Definitely enjoyed the beer while the sun was setting behind some buildings. The local pork knuckle was wonderful! The meat almost fell off the bone but firm enough and not dry. They forgot my water I ordered but all was forgotten (until now) due to their friendliness.

Great Beer and Service in Gdansk

Located on Piwna Street in Gdansk this place stands out for making their own beer on site and the tasty food is an added extra. Located off the busy Long Street it is a great place to take a load off, sip a beer and enjoy the friendly staff and people watch.

Dull place, poor food quality

We went to Browar Piwna as my boyfriend and I are beer lovers and we got excited when we noticed this bar - brewery. We went there with an intention to spend our evening, grab dinner and try out multiple beers, however we changed our mind pretty quickly. The place looks really dull, few tables placed in a way that provides no privacy to the customer, tv that shows one commercial non stop and waitresses who were more interested talking with one another than helping the customers. They didn't have our first choice of food orders, so we decided to stick with some snacks and beer at first. We ordered local tap beer, french fries and chicken wings. Both french fries and chicken wings were tasteless and felt like they were just microwaved. We ended up leaving without finishing our meals or drinks. During our weekend in Gdansk we visited 6 places, this was the only one that truly disappointed us.

Pasta is great ! Beer is good ! 網上看到他人推薦特地光顧，服務一流！意粉份量超級多，大概是平常的一倍，雞翼調味佳，但肉質比較粉；蘋果汁及啤酒不錯👍🏻只是不習慣沙律有辣的調味粉😳

Nice brewery restaurant with good drinks list

Nice small brewery restaurant with good drinks list. Only 3 different own brewed beers available when we visited, but otherwise the menu (both drinks and snacks) is wide. Garlic bread and bruschettas were very nice snack when drinking beer. The music on the background was funny 70's style porn funk and jazz. Prices are affordable, not the cheapest place in Gdansk, but good quality-price-ratio. (Beers 10-15 zl, drinks 20-30 zl, snacks 25 zl). Location very nicely near the centrum of the Old town.

Good surprise

Located closely to the Hampton hotel, this bar/brewery came as a surprise. Food was nothing special but ok but the beer was good straight from their in-house casks.

Staff forgot about our order
