My husband and I stayed at the Hanza Hotel for 8 nights and we ate at Zafishowani 4 nights out of the 8; it is THAT good! The salmon is the best I’ve had that I can remember. My husband really enjoyed the sea bass...and fish and chips. The horseradish mashed potatoes are a great option for a side dish to share as it is too large for one person. The scallops are a god options for an appetizer. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we’ve experienced. We travel enough both internationally and throughout the United States are this buffet is def in our top 3. The staff were fabulous - very kind and knowledgeable. Lucas and Julia are the two names we can remember but every single staff member we interacted with were a delight. We highly recommend this restaurant!More

I stay at Hanza hotel always when possible and go downstairs to the restaurant which is not typical hotel restaurant you can meet at hotels… This makes difference for sure ! I came at least once in quarter, always treated like special guest with excellent...staff/weiters ( I wouldn’t use this word as they have knowledge of all what they serve and are so warm) very careful and nice. I’ve tried many dishes from theirs newest card and can say that this is the best restaurant here. Fish is my number one and all I truly recomment… Starters are also fantastic choice if you don’t like deserts:)More

The meat lover breakfast was the best breakfast I’ve ever had! Staff here are excellent. Would definitely recommend for a well priced delicious breakfast.

Staff ere pleasant, helpful. You can even try Gdansk's famous Goldwasser liquer here. Seating is very comfortable. Not crowded. Morning music might have been a little more relaxing.

Place to be for good and honest, fresh food-fish; it’s not what you think when you take a first look at the menu but it’s absolutely great; we had the calamari and the grilled scallops as starters and the tuna and the sea bream as...main; wild broccoli and green vegetables as a side and the chips with parmesan and truffel; what an amazing combo; I would only upgrade the house wine if you aim for the bestMore

Rather expansive. Tasty. Good view. Nice Pavlova. House bread and butter. We liked our meal. Nice interior inside. Cosy terrace.

Unexpectedly excellent with great food and service. Lovely Amuse-bouche to begin, tasty fish soup and prawns as starters. Then wonderful flavours of fish dishes as mains. Waiter was super attentive and food surprisingly quick. A great evening meal.

Had the scallop tartare to begin and then the halibut with pesto and wild boar neck with potato dumplings for mains. Both were really good and the riverside location and restaurant interior and ambience were great

Had the marinated halibut starter (it was excellent) and the seafood soup (again excellent). The rest of the menu looked good.

Quite disappointed with the variety of fish available , no seafood on the menu and a few fish dishes were served with simple mash or potatoes. Paying over 70zl to receive a small piece of fish with one carrot cut into pieces and mash, that’s...called disappointment. Maybe it was better to get 2 starters instead of 1 main , but anyway we personally are not coming back. Expensive doesn’t not always mean special. They do not have veg side dishes in the menu and did not provide any bread / butter / oil for the table when waiting for food.More
