Visited on another rainy evening in October. Nice friendly welcome, no oroblem with not having booked. Comfortable seating, nice ambience, attentive staff. Tried the buckwheat/potato pancake starter - very tasty. Cod fillet and (fitness) salmon mains which were ok. Lovely pumpkin cheesecake to follow - huge portion. 'On the house' raspberry vodka shots, and a couple of coffees to finish.... More

The atmosphere was very cosy and the waiters really friendly. We had the 'essence of polish cuisine' which was incredibly good! This restaurant is a few meters away from the tourist mile but worth going! Also try a vodka when you are there! All in all totally recommendable!

Nice service, very good food. The place to eat in Gdansk! We had a dish for two, several pieces of meat and the most delicious baked potatoes ever

A Polish restaurant with over 150 brands of Vodkas for tasting. Basically a polish menu with soups, pancakes, pierogis with different fillings. Also meats, burgers, fowl. Typical soups as well as a good daily soup. Swift service and quality of food is good. Also good for business meetings and sampling of Polish food.

A short walk to this restaurant from our hotel, just behind the Madison Shopping Centre. It is on a quiet street with outdoor seating areas. The restaurant provides good quality Polish dishes for a very reasonable price and is definitely worth a visit. English menu's are available for the food choices. We enjoyed the food so much we ate at... More

We were recommended to this restaurant for lunch. We had asked our guide for a place serving typical Polish food. She said this was where her family went. Our lunch of potato pancakes and a mix of dumplings was excellent. After another full afternoon of sightseeing we decided to stay in Gdansk for supper and had no hesitation in returning... More

The food was horrible, we have try pierogi (one of the worst we ever had) and potato cakes (disaster). They use some old frying oil that had some apple/sugar taste, one of the cakes were not done and had sour taste. The worst meal in Gdansk and must say in Poland.

Had a great lunch here. Had to try the pierolgi feast which was really tasty and my wife had the beef kebab dish, can't remember it's name. Both were really generous portions and both tasted great. It's a little bit out of the main old town but definitely worth a visit.

Thank James T
