We arrived one hour early than our reservation, being very hungry, and the kind waitress fixed us up with short time to wait. We really appreciated it. I had the schnitzel, which was fantastic, and my son the chicken breast. But the place is about...the drinks too. 150 or so types of Vodka - just awesome! I tried two different potato vodkas, the Luksosowa and the Mlody Zemniak, the first neat and delicious, the second wild roaring hooch. Fantastic stuff. Had Slivovitz with the coffee, holy bananas. Great food, great drinks, and great service. Thanks!More
Overall our visit was good and I would give our main meals different ratings.
Rye sour soup (Żurek) was excellent, with tasty sausage and egg. I'm glad we shared it because it was pretty big.
My husband's beef roulade was actually excellent, meat so succulent...and it looked almost like veal. He was very happy.
On the other hand I had potato pancakes with pulled pork with BBQ sauce. The pork was actually tasty, no issues. The pancakes, on the other hand, were really soggy and full of oil - they were not put on paper towel after frying so tasted like they were soaked in oil. Because of that, they were not crispy which is a bit sad :( I think they had a lot of potential. The sauce wasn't good either, tasted very artificial and I reckon it was one of the cheaper store-bought ones.
The service was efficient and quick, no issues here.More
I’ve got to say this is a little gem of a place. Brilliant food, drink, atmosphere, & utmost very friendly & professional service provided by Martina, Very reasonable prices. Forget the more touristy places down by the waterfront & visit here you won’t regret it...100%.More
It is very clear this place specialises on vodka. I think they have 500 different ones. I don't like vodka, so can't comment on that - haven't tried any. But the beer on tap (as well as the bottled beer) was great :)! As was...the food - we went there as it was recommended to us as a place to try traditional Polish dishes and we weren't disappointed! We had different types of potato thingies (uhh, like tiny pancakes) with meat and they were all SO good :)! I was stuffed.More
We were staying across the road in the Ibis and my wife found this little gem. On the outside it looks just like an normal cafe. Inside there is a beautiful bar. If you like vodka, shots etc.. this is the place for you. So...many to choose from. The beers are also good. The staff were nice and pleasant. A special mention for Matheusz, who lived in London for 6 years. His English is excellent and he has a good knowledge of the area. He also likes to talk! I will definitly go back here next time for a meal. Their menu is very reasonably priced.More
A lovely place away from the crowd! A price worthy restaurant with friendly staff. I recommend the duck breast and the home made piragua with chantarelles and ricotta. Go there if you want to try local and great polish food!
Food came fast, service was good and chicken was perfectly made. Maybe a bit more flavour would have added some value to the experience, but luckily there was salt and pepper available in the table! This meal cost about 8 euros. 💓
