Indoors seating: mega hot. Outdoors: bazillion smokers.
The food and beer was good, but nothing extra - and it was pretty expensive.
The worst was the waiting for the waiters - when we wanted to order the drinks, then food, then to get a bill, then to finally pay.

On Sunday the cod was as great as possible in one big pice; yesterday it was two small pieces like in cheap restaurant completely covered with tasteless gravy. Interesting selection of wines. Bad I didn’t take picture on Sunday it was pice of art.

We always ask our Guests after each dish if they liked the dish or not, and we do this for a reason. If we get the feedback, that something was not right or as expected we are always able to correct our mistakes. However thank you very much for appreciating our selection of wines. Been here a couple of times before but this time will probably be the last. I took the cod which were ok..not warm though. The rest of the family took the duck and it was very dry. The beer is good but the waitress need to work on her service skills. A smile make wonders for guests. There is so many new and better restaurants in Gdansk so would recommend only to come here to have a beer.

I have visited numerous restaurants in Poland and have NEVER had the worst pierogis ever! It was like eating raw dough. Why every other restaurant sauteed or pan-fried their pierogis and this restaurant didn't I'll never know. I felt sorry for people in the group that had these pierogis for the first time in their lives. I was so disappointed I left early not even waiting for desert.

The Baltic Porter was perfect!!!! I haven't had such a great beer in a long time. Brilliantly prepared tartare, accompanied by pumpernickel from our own bakery, was a worthy complement. Low bows to Mr. Paweł for his smile and professionalism. Kudos to Edwin for his ability to connect with the customer. In a word.... an unforgettable afternoon 👏👏👏

Group of 22 got served shoesoles as main course. Manager wanted to compensate with 3 bottles of wine a vodka shot for everyone 😂 Staff went into defensive mode and got rude No thanks.
Avoid at all cost unless you want you beef cooked for a week and tough as a shoesole.
-1/10 would not recommend.

We are deeply sorry to hear about your disappointing experience at our restaurant. We always aim to provide a positive and enjoyable experience for all our guests, and your feedback is crucial for us.
We apologize if the main course was not to your satisfaction. In response, our manager offered complimentary wine and Goldwasser vodka, a local specialty, and we also proposed an alternative main course to better meet your preferences. Unfortunately, we understand that these efforts may not have fully met your expectations.
On a more serious note, we are extremely concerned about the interaction that led to one of our waitresses being brought to tears due to verbal abuse. We uphold a respectful and considerate environment for both our guests and staff, and such behavior is deeply distressing and not acceptable in our establishment.
We sincerely regret that your experience did not reflect the high standards we strive for. We hope for an opportunity to welcome you back in the future and provide a more positive and respectful dining experience.

We were reluctant to enter, as the place looked like a tacky bierstube with big TV screens sending football. But we were curious about the beer brewed in the restaurant and went in to taste. Browsing through the menu we were tempted by the seasonal chanterelle dishes and decided to dine there anyway. And we were not disappointed, the food was excellent and the service impeccable. Chanterelle risotto with halibut was superb and with a huge piece of fish. Fantastic! The rib eye was served with grilled vegetables, had lots of garlic and butter, was served with a good chanterelle sauce and tasted excellent. The meat could have been more tender, but all in all it was great. For dessert we had pannacotta with strawberries and it was really good and not too sweet.

Great service, beer & cocktails tasted amazing and the food was very good too, not too long of a wait, portions are quite big. Lots of different beers on the menu recommend the Radler beer cocktail very refreshing on a hot day. Prices reasonable.

I have visited Brovarnia on Friday with my pal and we had tasty meal hosted by our waiter Pawel.
His customer service was fenomenal,he was very friendly and efficent,he has Recommended places to visit in Gdansk.He seem to have wide knowledge of the city and very helpful.
He has suggested beatiful wine And told us The story of The Goldwasser which was rather interesting.
He is The right person in The right place.
Will definetely come back on The next visit in Gdansk.

Such an amazing and warm place! Great food, excellent drinks and that beer...I wish I could go there every single day. We visited Brovarnia on Saturday evening and we were served like absolute kings. Shout out to Julia - extremely competent waitress who not only has a great taste, but also gave us some useful information about the city. We felt like home with her as a waitress. Highly recommend visiting Brovarnia if you want to chill and have the best waitress services in the city ;)

Great place for a dinner for couple. We had an opportunity to taste the dishes from temporary Czech menu and they were really great. I am not a fan of Czech beer though, but my partner liked it. Brovarnia really knows how to make people feel good in their place.

This place was expensive compared to other places with a price of 26PLN for a half litre of IPA and 23PLN for wheat beer and not much of a view. Some other places have nicer locations and better views and are cheaper, with 18PLN being a typical price. That said their IPA was excellent and it is difficult to find elsewhere.
Look elsewhere.

Very good beers brewed on site, in a lovely riverside location - try the porter, layers of complex fruits and spices, but take care with the 9% abv. Didn't have time to try the food unfortunately, but it looked good. Staff were friendly, including a lovely lady in beer costume who was great fun. Highly recommended for a beer in old town.

Situated the other side of Spihrzow Island from the main town means you will not pass by, but it isn't far from the the popular area. It's worth the effort. Beer is very good. The atmosphere is more that of a restaurant though we drank at the bar. Also had a small plate of sausages as a snack which was good quality and good value.

It was a pleasant stay at Brovarnia. I tried milk stout beer, shrimps and tatar and it was all excellent. I appreciate service as well. I was being served by Julia - very cheerfull and helpful waitress. Atmosphere - 5/5 stars!
