I am hard to please when it comes to sashlik but they know their stuff. Really well done. The khinkali and chatsapuri with meat filling were also very satisfying. The service was friendly and swift. I will definetly return.

This restaurant came recommended by our Polish friends and Chinkalnia didn’t disappoint We ordered both soups - cheese with dumplings and spicy meat. Both very good size portions. We followed that with chicken in garlic cream sauce, chicken in tomato and onion sauce and a...stuffed flatbread. All good. We also chose a plate of pickles and bread. To finish we went the whole hog and had baklawa and chocolate mousse- both deserts were fine but not spectacular. We took the opportunity to try Georgian wine which was excellent. Service was ok if a little disjointed at times but it was exceptionally busy.More
We hadn't planned to eat here during our recent trip to Gdansk, but walked past and read the menu and thought it sounded interesting. We opted to go on a Friday evening, and it was really busy, and packed out with Polish diners. Service was...a bit slow to begin with but once we got our order in, it was fine. The menu has a lot of choice and lots of interesting dishes. We tried the Georgian dumplings, stuffed eggplant rolls, meat pastry, pork and potato dish and the minced kebab. Everything was absolutely delicious. The Georgian wine was also great. We ordered a lot of food and the bill was surprisingly little. For us, this is a must visit when in Gdansk.More
We are very disappointed after visit in this restaurant. I was in Georgia and in many Georgian restaurants all over the world so I know quite well how this cuisine should taste. Here food was very average, no real Georgian cheese. I wanted to give...average rating but waitress has wrongly given us chinkali. I felt something is wrong but I made sure with last piece. When I told it - reply was ,,I just put it and don't care"- which guest is ordering what. Disrespectful and flippant attitude towards customers. Never again because of that.More
A great culinary experience. Never before did we try Georgian cuisine, but for sure we will do that again. Service was honest and nice. We got really good recommendations when we asked for them. Thanks Chinkalnia!
Food and service lovely! We have never tried Georgian food before but it was an experience for sure. I think i was just a little unlucky with my chioice with fried pork and potato because i forgot ordering sauce and i am a sauce person...but that was my own fault. My boyfriend loved his meal chicken liver and it was delicious. And we tasted the dumplings with cheese those were amazing. The staff was incredible we don’t often experience service in Poland but here they took care of you like you were visiting family or friends we loved it.More
Extremelly poor service. We were ushered to the table and forgotten. At first we thought that the restaurant is simply busy and we have to be a little patient. We kept waiting. In the mean time, 2 more tables were occupied by native speakers who...got lucky and had their orders placed. Meanwhile we kept waiting and had plenty of time to judge the high prices. Its hard to say if the food was any good since no one bothered to come and take our order. The waitress who ushered us to the table glanced at us if we are still at our table and ran the opposite direction. After about a 20 or more minute wait we got up and left. Nothing else left to add just that the place is not vert friendly with the foreign speakers.More
Big portions and tasteful food. No for weight watchers. Good anf frienly service. Try the bred with cheese, Love it.
THX!
Delicious Georgian food. I highly recommend the dishes that I tried; chinti lobio, chinkali, czachohbili, chaczapuri. Georgian wine is a perfect match to these dishes, at reasonable price. Good sevice, Everyuthing is highly recommended!
THX!
Delicious Georgian food. Very nice and friendly service. Affordable prices. The place is clean and nicely decorated, located near the Old Town.
Another visit and another good experience. Chinkali always delicious, same as chaczapuri. Chicken po czkmerulsku and czanachi very nice.
Waited 1 hour for ordering, they dident come. 10 tables and 5 servers, thats says alot of the restaurant. Will not recomand this to no one.
A busy place serving tasty Georgian cuisine. I ordered the Georgian salad, 3 lula kebabs and the delicious tarragon lemonade. All was great and tasty and for a very reasonable price. Service provided by the staff was friendly and correct. Recommended!
Very tasty and great services! Normal prices despite the fact that it is located in the old town. So, totally recommend! You won't regret;)
the soup was not fresh, the chicken in the soup was rotten. Some of other meals was missing components. Manager have no experience to deal with customers and solve the problems. Disappointed. Can not recommend restaurant unless you want to visit Polish Hospital after and...check service in there. 😏More
