The garlic pesto rolls as an appetizer are delicious, as is everything else on the menu. Many proposals, different flavor compositions, everyone will find something for themselves in true Neapolitan style. Additionally, the drinks… very good! I can't recommend it at all, obviously the lack of reservations is a bit annoying and you may have to wait an hour in the queue to get in, but it's worth the effort every once in a while. Today, Sunday, three people waited for 30 minutes, we entered at 6:30 p.m.
As for the service, as usual, very polite, helpful in choosing a pizza/possibly replacing toppings.

The 20 minute wait for a table (queue every day) was well worth the time when we were served the best pizza we have ever eaten. Fantastic. They also have recommended wines for all pizzas, and the wine was perfect. A lovely tiramisu for dessert. It is not possible to book a table, so be there in good time. Really recommended

As we approached the place, we saw a queue. We decided to stay after reading the reviews. We stood in line for 1 hour. While waiting, we were surprised by a nice touch from the place. The waitress offered everyone hot tea and informed us about the waiting time to enter and how long after ordering we would receive the pizza. There is definitely not enough space inside, especially in winter when someone has a thick jacket, etc. The tables are very close to each other, so you can hear what your neighbor is talking about. The food is a plus. We were not disappointed. Very nice service. Mrs. Łucja who served us was very polite and smiling. We will come back again.

The pizzas are good.
Negative points: in the end we had to pay a tip because our group had more than 5 people.
The waiting time was long and they were rude when we told them they had made a mistake on an order. We ordered pizza number 4 and they brought the 4 cheese pizza which we asked them to correct and bring the one we really wanted and they said we had to pay anyway.
The waiting time was very long.

The food was really good. The long queues forming at the main entrance speak volumes about the excellent quality of food and service at this restaurant. The biggest sensation for me was the combination of lemon oil and truffle paste on pizza, a great combination. The service was also first class, special recognition for Mrs. Karolina's professionalism. Dinner 10/10.

To eat pizza without a reservation, you have to be prepared to stand in a queue, but the staff deals with it quickly. The place itself is cozy and the pizza is delicious!
If you appreciate Neapolitan pizza, this is a must-see place on the map of Gdańsk. We also have to mention the great service, especially Mrs. Agatka. A very positive, nice and professional woman :) Finally, I will add that alcoholic beverages, the selection and somehow are definitely a plus. Prices adequate to quality. We will definitely come back and we highly recommend this place

Waiting about an hour, the pizza was good but nothing exceptional compared to many other Italian restaurants. We were not even accompanied to the table by the waiter and ordered a pizza that could not be made due to absent ingredients. Good pizza but not worth the wait of an hour given the complex

We came across this amazing restaurant by accident and we are so pleased we did. Everyday there is a queue outside as they do not take reservations. The restaurant is on three floors and over looks the river. The staff are very professional and knowledgeable. The food is absolutely delicious and the best pizzas and bruschetta we have ever had. You must try and visit here if you like real authentic Italian cuisine you won’t be disappointed but be prepared to wait a while for a table.

Very good pizza and the drinks taste incredibly good.
The service is good and the waiters are calm despite the long queue.
We got out of the queue after 45 minutes as it had hardly moved forward at all.
Tried one afternoon when it was too late for lunch and then we also waited around 45 minutes before we got a table, worth it we thought! go don't go there if you're not prepared to wait because the line is almost all the time when it doesn't work to book a table.

Would recommend booking there was a queue of people waiting when we arrived and when we left. We strolled past as we had a booking. Restaurant spread over 3 floors and up a windy stair case so woulf be difficult for anyone with mobility issues.
We ordered 2 margarita pizzas a bruschetta 2 cokes and a beer came to 130 pln approx 24 quid this included a service charge of 13 pln. Food was nice and it was really good value

Delicious pizza, no wonder it is proclaimed one of the best (if not the best) in Gdańsk! Fresh ingredients of the highest quality and very friendly service. We were served by Mrs. Karolina, who, in addition to helping us choose pizza, made sure that our experience at Ostro was as good as possible. 10/10!

We enjoyed their pizza so much we went there twice. It's the Neapolitan pizza so might be a bit different to your usual one, but these guys really know what they're doing.
There was a queue to get in, even in low season, which is totally not surprising. Plenty of great pizza options, and each pizza comes with a recommended wine on the menu (at very reasonable prices).
Service is great, notwithstanding the fact they are obviously very busy they never rush you.
Try it if you're in Gdansk. The queue is well worth the wait, and is quite fast-moving anyway.

The pizza is unbelievable value, the only thing that made the meal expensive was the wine. We sat in the courtyard out the back which was beautiful and the waitress that served us was excellent. They gave us a heads up about the delay in food arriving but that didn’t bother us due to the gorgeous ambiance. Would recommend to friends!

delicious pizza and drinks; very nice service and pleasant decor of the place. prices adequate to the quality of the meal. waitress Natalia made sure everything was in order. for a table for two people, on Tuesday around 2 pm, we waited about 15 minutes - it is worth waiting in line

Experience was so and so, fist issue for me is that you cannot book the table even though we were 5 and for 5 and bigger groups they charge additional 10% - and frankly speaking there is nothing to which i could atteibute this 10%.
So without reservation we waited 20 minutes outside, smaller groups could enjoy their table before us :(. Then we were waiting more than 50 minutes for the pissas.
About the pizzas. The dough was good, indeed it was napolitaine type, but thats the only reason they got 3 stars frm me. The quality of toppings very poor, tasteless rucola, tasteless prosciutto di parma, tomato sauce not as good as expected. Capricciosa without mozzarella, without ham and without mashrooms but with geen Greek olives and roasted garlic - a very particular recipe ;)
All in all I can't recommend this pizzeria because off poor quality, average taste and 1h10 waiting before being served.
