My family and I visited after our first day at the Christmas Market and loved the place. A week later I arranged a meeting with a friend and business colleague coming up from Warsaw and chose Czeska again due to the first very positive experience....Given the current temperatures and frequent precipitation - this is a perfect spot to slip into just near the beginning of Dluga Street, it is very roomy and warm, the decor and furnishings first-class and well thought-out, and unpretentious. There are interesting yet subtle artefacts and a great color scheme with a bit of Marvel Comics wall paper accents in just the right places. The front room being the bar and table seating, which merges back to a main seating area with the giant screen T.V., and back to the left is another dining room with walls of glass accented by plant life. The restrooms are very modern, clean, and spacious. In summary as to atmosphere, very comfortable in which to relax and kick back with drinks, and glance out the windows to observe the hustle and bustle on the charming streets outside. The food is excellent, great burgers and various chops and assorted mains. The Czech fries are not to be missed. The music selection flows well, with a good range of songs you will know, with the volume set at just the right levels to allow for normal conversation with your friends and family. The perfect spot for afternoon pints, or a casual evening dinner - better still if the former just flows into the latter.More

I visited on a week night as my initial choice was closed. I’m glad that I was able to try this pub. I ordered some zurek and their Black and Tans. The soup was okay, their other food looked very good! The Black and Tans...were a tasty/classic choice. Of course Kozel is very mainstream but this location is worth the visit for the atmosphere and different pour styles they do. Good spot!More

Walking past the place, Kozlovna looks like an expensive tourist trap. Situated on the main street in Gdansk, it seems to scream "avoid me". Ignore this first impression and just go in. To start with, Kozlovna has great beer for a more than reasonable price....The food we had, pate with bread, was unexpectedly tasty. The staff is open, cultural and friendly, and makes you feel welcome - no mean feat in Gdansk. And then, there is a patio, to enjoy your beer away from all the main street hustle and bustle.More

Very welcoming, smiley girl who served us , was a credit to the restaurant. The food was pricy for Gdańsk and lacked flavour in our opinion, and the onion rings did not seem home made . The ribs however were excellent. No desert menu only...chocolate cake. Good traditional beer.More

We are travellers originally from Czech Republic so we were looking for some nice Czech beer with outdoor seating as it was a really nice day and we found this gem. The beer was great, soups were delicious and the waitress was really nice and...friendly. Next time visiting Gdansk we are definitely coming backMore

Strangely, it's fairly hard to find sausage served in Polish restaurants, at least in our experience. We finally found a great choice. My wife ordered the wild boar sausage with sauerkraut and I had the grilled pork ribs with honey. Everything was outstanding, served hot...and very tasty. We also enjoyed a few of the Kozel beers, which are from the Czech Republic. Our waiter was Sergey, from Belarus, a fun, happy guy who helped make this experience as great as it was.More

Luckily we spotted this restaurant/bar early in the afternoon (a Sat) and decided to make a booking on the spot, choosing a great table as, when we arrived, the place was really alive and full. Food was excellent, with a wide choice including Polish specialities...and we were made to feel welcome by the attentive staff. In all a most enjoyable experienceMore
