My family and I visited after our first day at the Christmas Market and loved the place. A week later I arranged a meeting with a friend and business colleague coming up from Warsaw and chose Czeska again due to the first very positive experience....Given the current temperatures and frequent precipitation - this is a perfect spot to slip into just near the beginning of Dluga Street, it is very roomy and warm, the decor and furnishings first-class and well thought-out, and unpretentious. There are interesting yet subtle artefacts and a great color scheme with a bit of Marvel Comics wall paper accents in just the right places. The front room being the bar and table seating, which merges back to a main seating area with the giant screen T.V., and back to the left is another dining room with walls of glass accented by plant life. The restrooms are very modern, clean, and spacious. In summary as to atmosphere, very comfortable in which to relax and kick back with drinks, and glance out the windows to observe the hustle and bustle on the charming streets outside. The food is excellent, great burgers and various chops and assorted mains. The Czech fries are not to be missed. The music selection flows well, with a good range of songs you will know, with the volume set at just the right levels to allow for normal conversation with your friends and family. The perfect spot for afternoon pints, or a casual evening dinner - better still if the former just flows into the latter.More
