Service was superb. The cocktails were one of the best I've had in my life. You gotta try the Polish Espresso/Espresso Martini!
The Interior is beautiful and everything else is also on par with the descriped things.
Really nice, stylish spot in the hearth of the city in a beautiful tenement house. Actually It seems that the name is connected with the historical aspect of the street (dogs) . My top 1# at the moment in Gdańsk.
High quality of food and...the great visual composition of served meal. The prices are adequate to the overall excellency level.
Additional thing that might make your evening is live music.
Great thanks also to Jacob who was our waiter.
We will definitely come back here again ( especially since we live nearby).
Congratz to all staff members for making this place so good.More
Me and my friends went there kind of by accident. Place looks very chic and i was expecting it to be quite pricy but actually its's not expensive at all-quality of food and presentation is perfect, dishes are delicous! You have to go there for...a tartare!!! Definitely very good value for money. I high recommended this restaurant.More

Thank you so much for leaving us this fantastic review.
We hope to see you again soon!
We stay in Danzig for 10 days. After 5 days and many different locations I've gotta say it's the best restaurant I've experienced here. Fair prices, nice Ambiente, nice jam session from live musicians. Super friendly service and the meal just completes a perfect evening....We go there again for sure before we leave.More

Exetremely slow service. We were waiting for a bottle of Prosecco for 17 minutes and I’m still waiting for my salad (40+ minutes). Just for the record: tartare for my friend was really good, and I hope I will enjoy my salad as well, but...please, could you inform your guests if they have to wait that long. I have a main dish in the order and I’m really afraid of how long I’ll wait for this.More

Longer waiting times for ordered dishes due to you ordered main course and starter.
Starter will be always serve earlier than main course.
Unfortunately, the waiter wasn't informed that starter and main course have to be given in the same time.

...and on food and the music duette that was entertaining us
we had a relaxed night out and we hope pandemic will let Canis survive like previous 150 years
ps - Burger came with an unexpected load of cheese, please!
I believe this is our 10th visit to Canis..
Excellent sirloin, probably even better than previously. Same for prawns, the added subtle toasts were great.
Fantastic riesling (Polish! I was shocked someone made such a wine in Poland)
Solid creme brulee.
Very pleasant music, as...usual.
My only 2 "buts" concern service and Covid protection.
Windows were not open, although they could have been. The waiters were not wearing masks , the one helping us said he had asthma. But what is the probability, that the second waiter was also asthmatic ? In such case they could have used plastic helmets - they allow normal breathing. Especially that waiters were moving their faces close to clients and talking directly into our faces..
So we will probably put on hold our visits to Canis till the Restaurant increases Covid awareness.More
