Old fashioned style restaurant with lots of memorabilia. White table cloths and silverware :) Had the president Lech Walesa's menu, which I enjoyed - the borsch soup starter was fantastic. The pork and the beef my husband had melted in the mouth.

This is a sort of a cross between a restaurant and a museum - go inside and you'll see what I mean. As this is a favourite haunt of the Solidarnosc leader Lech Walesa, we opted for the set dinner which included 4 courses of his favourite dishes accompanied by his Walesowa Wodka - be warned, it is very very... Menu looked good, walked in to very attentive service, waiters in dress uniform. Decor is inviting and very grand! Was our last night so wanted it to be the best. Our starters were excellent...meat dumplings and I had herring. But ALL the main courses were coming out the same! My partner had lamb (most expensive on menu!) and I had... More

This restaurant looks good from out and inside. Lots of symbols and kitsch, but slightly pompous. Food was nothing to write home about....

The fire og us dumped into this restaurant in a rainy day in Gdansk. Mysterious furniture well worth a wisit. And the Lech Walesa's menu with PepperVodka made our day. Good authentic food, Excellent service and storytelling from our waiter.

Really good food and we thought it was quite reasonable for such a fancy restaurant. A 200g steak was around £15. Worth going in for the décor it is truly amazing. Attentive and friendly staff.

We were under dressed for this restaurant, which made me a bit uncomfortable, but the waiter said no problem. It is a beautiful building with great ambience. The food was great, maybe the best food we had on our entire 5 week trip. And very reasonable.

We went to this restaurant for our last lunch before leaving for the airport, only chose it because my wife fancied some smoked salmon or prawns and this was the first place we found with those on the menu. We entered at around 13.45 as many people were just leaving as the main lunch rush was over, there were only two occupied... More

We entered to this restaurant and our mouths opened immediately. They have put some extra effort to decoration, it looks great! But, it is not just the decoration, also the food and service was excellent. Our menu dinner included fried trout, fried perch and crayfish soup. If you like to have good food just a few steps away from super... More
