Amazing decor and delicious Polish dishes. Lech Walesa came to eat here and of course the crew is proud he did. The service was fast and friendly, the food served in a big portion and a lady with a beautiful voice played lovely music to...complete the ambiance.More

First of all, wonderful food, and souch big portions that we could hardly walk home. The duck breast turned out to be half a duck! The decor is overwhelming, so many pictures and ships and stuffed birds and wall paintings and and and ... The...waiters, with epaulettes! are corteous and thhe service prompt. Price: two main courses, two appetizers (also large portions), beer and wine, 250 zloty. Highly reccommended.More

What a lovely restaurant, the decor is amazing. The service was excellent and made to feel so welcome. Great advice when ordering food, bread served with cold sweet swede and dripping is courtesy of the house before ordering, a polish custom apparently. Food served was...so fresh and the whole experience was so inviting that my friend and I had 3 meals there out of a four night stay. Good prices too, I was so amazed.More

While my wife was next door at a hair salon to make a purchase, I just happened to go in to this restaurant for a cold beer. Wow what a beautiful place!!! I said I'm in the wrong place for a beer, but the maitre...de assured me it was o.k. I ordered a beer which the english speaking waiter gladly poured for me. I saw pierogi as a starter on the menu. I ordered it and they were hands down the best pierogi's I ever had. My wife walked in with a grin and a nod and said" Wow,this place is BEAUTIFUL" She saw the pierogi which by the way, she never tried and thought they were delicous! The waiter heard her and brought her an order free of charge! When we told him we were from America he brought us a sampler of polish breads, pickles and a dip. All free of charge! I had another beer, my wife had a soda. The bill was $11...wow! This seemed too good to be true, but this is exactly our experience.More

We visited what was promised to be the best restaurant in gdansk. The decor lived up to expectations however that was the only good thing about the place. When we entered the restaurant we were not greeted but left wondering if we should just pick...a table or wait, after a while we selected a table on our own. The waiter was slow and unhelpful and made us feel that we wern't good enough for the restaurant. The Hunters stew was tasteless watery cabbage with little else, the Pierogi was unimpressive (unlike other places where we had tried it) I had fish (Sandacz I think) This was overcooked and unappetising, the accompianments were just best forgotten. The waiter said he could speak English but was unwilling to demonstrate this, basically the only thing he said to us was "Bon appetite" When I asked to speak to the manager he told me that he was the manager, I politely told him that the service had been terriblle and the food was poor Quality. He made no attempt to apologise or to make ammends. We were given the bill of 150 Zwoty. The most expensive meal of our holiday and the worst.More
