I had researched great places for beer in the Baltic and found this place in my studies. I was not disappointed when I finally got to visit. The beer was fantastic as was the service. Although we did not order food, I was very happy...with my experience and glad I got to visit. I would recommend this place to any beer lovers.More

An outstanding experience, supported by glorious taste and excellent quality! I stayed inside due to rain, had soup and burger, accompanied by dark beer. Each, was marvellous and together, enormous! I highly recommend it.

Very nice place for lunch, wide selection of food. Service okay for mid city downtown touristic spot. Atmosphere and service good.

Excellent local authentic cuisine. We ordered the duck leg and the crispy pork, both were delicious. We also shared the chocolate fondue dessert. The waitress was attentive and the service fast. We would visit again.

This restaurant is a great find! We were unsure where to eat and thought we’d take a chance - from the street you go down some stairs with no idea what to expect. Once downstairs we realised it’s huge! Lots of different rooms all buzzing...with people. The atmosphere was great, the food was fantastic and really reasonably priced. We’re not beer fans but even to us the tasting selections and beer wall looked amazing. Really pleased we found it.More

Food was amazing. Staff inside and outside were extremely friendly. The dumplings Russian and duck are highly recommended (share). We had mulled wine as an accompaniment. Really good.

Generally I avoid places where there is someone outside with a menu board inviting you in - but the guy was actually friendly, funny and not pushy at all. Large parts of it were closed for a private function when we went - so not...food available so can't comment on that. They have a wide variety of beer on tap that you serve yourself with. Its all actually quite good. The only problem being you have to get a card first and tell them how much credit you would like on it - I really don't know this when I start drinking and know even less when I'm a few beers in! so its quite difficult to judge how much you'll need. It would be better working on a credit rather than pre-payment system. That said, prices were reasonable for the location and you can easily lose a few hours in here!More

First this place is big and under ground. The portions are also big! I had the shitzell and hubby had chicken. Let's just say we were both very full and happy.

I stumbled upon this lovely place quite by accident - an internet search for Gdansk breweries did not reveal it. Situated next to the Neptune fountain in the most touristy part of town, there is a pleasant outside seating area, but go down some steps...and you will find a huge subterranean area which includes the brewery and lots more seating. I had the Baltic herring and golonka, and quite a bit of the brewery's own beer, which were all excellent. The staff spoke excellent English and were friendly and welcoming.
