I visit OSR often due to my business duties and I have found out Kartac is my most favourite restaurant with really delicious meal and great service for great price. Nice, clean and in style. End off.

Was passing though Ostrava when I came across this gem. Real Czech food and beer was delicious Adam the perfect English speaking server was fantastic!

We visited this restaurant with colleagues for dinner. We were in 12 people. We made choice for food in advance. Food was delicious, we had different meals. First problems started when service brought food. They messed out starters with main course. Firts some people had main course instead of starters. If some of us ordered steaks medium or medium rare, we all got only medium. Despite of this fact, food was delicious. We ordered some bottles of wine. Service team said us 10 min. before 10 pm, when is close time, that we can make last order. And 10 min. after closing time service team said us that we have to finish drinking. And after few minutes they said pretty checky that we have to stand and go. We were really surprised and we went away. We spent really interesting money but service team was not polite. It was first and last our visit in this restaurant. We were not cheeky and noisy, we wanted only to eat and discuss together.

The most unpleasant welcome I've ever met in my life! Saying hello was nothing but hard reprimand because we dared to join tables together without asking. Really? This is how you welcome your new clients? This is such a problem or blond waitress doesn't like Poles? I didn't believe my ears and lost my appetite immidiately.
I ate nothing but my friend ordered garlic soup and said it was hot water with spoon of some cereal and two small pieces of potatoes, no taste od garlic..
So never ever!
I do not recommend.

The tenderloin steak tasted good, but since I ordered rare and got medium, it was a disappointment, because you don't get meat for 200 CZK but for 500 CZK. Beer from the tank is excellent. Desserts ok. Nice service.

Today I visited the restaurant for a lunch and it wasn’t very tasty. I had a pork steak which wasn’t very tasteful. The soup was fine. Price 250 Kč is fine by me, but for someone may not be. Nevertheless I won’t visit again.
