Highly recommend. We came to celebrate our anniversary and it was the perfect place to do so. The food was delicious and our waiter was friendly. He recommended a delicious wine to go with my meal and we enjoyed our experience overall. The restaurant was...a bit hidden but once you find it, it's absolutely stunning.More

This is an easy place to miss, but make sure you don't. The Wine cellar is famous around Ostrava for it's good quality lunch menus and good selection of wine to go with it. However in my opinion they do an even better dinner menu...with some very good choices of meat. This is also a great place to get together with friends as most of the tables can facilitate up to 15 people. If going on Fridays and Saturdays it's always recommended to reserve, Especially coming close to the holiday period when the place becomes very popular for Company parties.More

Zaječský sklep will never disappoint. Amazing atmosphere down in the cellar, wide wide selection of wine, kind and professional staff, and the food... Oh My GOD! So amazing. Let it be something traditional like duck and dumplings, the beef cheeks, you really can't go wrong....And their desserts are also heavenly. I would say one of the best restaurants in Ostrava. My personal favourite. HIGHLY recommended for a special occasion like anniversary or business dinner, but also if you really just wanna enjoy great wine in a beautiful environment. MAKE A RESERVATION!More

When you approach this restaurant - assuming you actually manage to find it - there is nothing to suggest that it is going to be anything special at all. But as soon as you get inside you will appreciate the red-brick walls and arched ceilings...of this former wine cellar, and expectations rise. Well the food is absolutely fantastic, the service first class and the price is more than reasonable. The best restaurant we have visited in Ostrava, probably in the entire Czech Republic*. You definitely will not be disappointed with Zajecsky; 100% recommended. *Disclaimer, we haven't been to every restaurant in the Czech Republic.More

One of better places where you can have a lunch during a week. Service was always quite fast despite the fact it's quite crowded during lunch time :).

Taken here by friends who live in Ostrava, first impression, really nice lay out with plenty of room. The staff were helpful and happy to recommend dishes. The homemade lemonade is certainly a good place to start. We all had soup to start which was...good and hot. The main courses were plentiful and well presented. We mostly finished with soufflé which again was perfectly cooked. Highly recommend a visit.More

We had a dinner in February 2015. The tomato soup with marinated Buffalo mozzarella and Deer loin with herb marinade with grilled vegetables and demi - glace sauce with pepper balls Argentine. Both were really delicious and served on the plate looked great. We'll come...there again sometime.More

Very nice restaurant with friendly atmosphere. Sometimes to noisy neighbours. The cuisine is international. I can recommend calf ossobuco with Parmesan risotto. The staff is very friendly and fast. This wine cellar was a big positive surprise for me.
