The environment of the restaurant resembles a period of 20 years ago, almost bare walls, radio music.... I ordered crunchy beef bits, but the meat was old, poured with some sweet sauce that resembled plum jar. Asian cuisine really has nothing to do with it....The price of this meal is 240 CZK without rice, but the food is at the level of "bad fast food".More

love food from there, every time ordering on the internet, just often I am waiting really long time, that´s great that they have so many orders, but I am not interesting about that, if there is written that food is gonna be here in 90...minutes, it should be, it´s not my problem if they have only one car or many orders etc... if they are 45 minutes late, there should be some compensation ... the soups are really the best, also love rice with meat, just never saw there vegetable, which is written on their website .....More

The restaurant is nice, the staff is friendly, the food is ok. Nothing special. The location is not good. I don't think we will be back.

This restaurant is a little further from the center, but only 1 minute walk from the nearest tram station. Definitely worth the try. It has one of the best and 'authentic' Asian food I have ever eaten in Ostrava. I was really impressed with the...cuisines, and even more impressed when I was told the chef is from Czech. The service from the waiter is super, the environment despite quiet, is very calming, and the price is averagely affordable. I will come back again (in the name of Asian)More

Honestly, I partially disagree with previous review. The food itself, is passable, acceptable. Obviously, if you compare with a fast food, well this is an authentic gem, in fact, is not. The place is cold, really cold, no atmosphere at all, is like eating between...for white walls. Underline that is czech chef..cZech waiters, sounds a bit offensive also. U might try once, but definitely doesn't worth to come back.More

Hidden in apartment building near the main railstation this asian restaurant is truly magnificent. Staff is almost to kind and will check on you several times during meal to ensure you are satisfied. Bit if you got your mouth full with their delicious food you...can just give thumb up. I honestly cant think of anything negative about this place. Perfect last meal before we headed home. Next time in Ostrava we should start here.More

Lotos restaurant offers a variety of Chinese style meals at reasonable prices. Sometimes the portions could be slightly bigger but they are satisfactory nevertheless. The interior is clean and well designed. The staff is polite and helpful.

Modern and healthy asian food, owners has experiences from working with hong-kong chefs abroad. Tidy and spacious, light place - as their cuisine.

After countless lunches at local "chinese" fast foods, I was glad to experience the service and meals of this Ostrava restaurant. We ordered soft spicy sour soup, which was very pleasant. As a main dish we took different meals served on heated plates and we...tried all of them: beijing duck with pancakes, spring onion, cucumber and Hoi Sin sauce; pork pieces in spicy sauce with pepper and ginger; chicken pieces in sweet-sour sauce with pineapple, pepper and lichi; extras - singapore rice noodles with vegetables, curry, shrimps and bbq pork pieces; fried rice with curry, egg and chopped vegetables. The service was nice and proffesional (czech waiters), the meals were really tasty (have never been to China, Hongkong or any of such destinations - cannot say how authentic the taste was). I can imagine to return to this restaurant again.More
