We had an excellent dinner served with a great red wine. My companion had a beefsteak cooked to perfection. I enjoyed rabbit in a delicious sauce. The server was friendly, professional and attentive. We will definitely return.

We came from Poland to visit Ostrava and had a lovely surprise finding this very nice restaurant. We were looking for a place where they would accept our doggo friend inside, and not only did they allow us to bring him along, but they immediately...offered him some water 🐶💦 then they also served us some amazing tea and good czech beers. The menu was in different languages, and contained a lot of regional specialties. We ordered a lot of dishes to share: fried cheese, knedliki, smoked trout, soups, beef tartare, and a meat dish called « devils delicacy ». The food was so good that even if we had way too much, we ate it all and even ordered a scoop ice cream to end this dinner. Our waiter was super helpful and kind. The restaurant was recommended in a leaflet, so why not to try it? Not far from Stodolní, nice clean interior with choice of traditional Czech/Moravian cuisine. The beef and garlic soups were excellent! And so it could continued for the next course. And a good...beer above. The staff kind and helpful. We were fully satisfied. Had a very pleasent goose menue on Saturday 10th of November 2018 and the waitress was very professional, in the line with 3 star Michelin restaurants.

Directly in the centre of Ostrava surrounded by loads of other restaurants we did chose this one cause of the baked cheese they offer. The meal was good and not expensive. The beer was the best of the evening. Parking slots infront of the restaurant...you have to pay for.More

We all started with the Garlic soup which was delicious. Then we had fish, rabbit and the miners special. Food was great. Service friendly. And just over 50 euros for 3 of us. :-).

We has dinner here on summer evening quite some people but just place inside. Food was good and fresh Ly home made and service was great

The ambience is good, nice traditional interior, well chosen music at the right volume, excellent food, fast and courteous service, reasonable prices. Highly recommended!

I truly recommend this restaurant where you can eat a typical Moravian cousin. They serve good food and drinks and it’s cheap.

If you want to taste some uniqe taste of Moravian cousine and you are in Ostrava or in mountains nearby, you have to try this stunning mix of Czech, Slovak, Silesian, Polish food. Try "Ďábelská pochoutka - Devilish delicacy" or famous miners dish "Havířská specialita...- Miner’s Special" - but be aware - because the portion are soooooo big that 2 adults will be full after eating it together - literally!! Me and my friend ordered two of mentioned meals and we saw amount of food for 4 people. If you had a long hikking trip or just returned from the slopes it is something especially for you. Fantastic regional wines as well - Modry Portugal taste wonderful. You can also try home wine for very reasonable prices. I trully recommend!!More

Staff are friendly and cheap offered fair comments on food. The portion is generous but high quality. The garlic soup is extraordinarily good. I ordered fish grilled and juicy meat.
