Great dinner, very tasty and original meals at a reasonnable price for such a "fine dining" experience. The pairing was excellent. The service was a bit in a rush, but I guess we had an unexperienced waitress. Lovely decoration in the restaurant.

In an beautifully open and modern restaurant atmosphere you will get served professionally non the less friendly sometimes slightly experimental sometimes funny sometimes rather classical but always very tasty dishes. Very positively we got surprised taky about the nonalcoholic pairing of the Menu. We enjoyed...it very much, also stay in Theatre-Hotel and breakfast a will come again for Menu 2 or 3 for překrásný dinner. … make reservations in time :)More
Very high end restaurant with imaginative cuisine and exemplary service which would not be out of place in New York or London, but at substantially lower cost. This place is well worth making a special trip for. Highly recommended,
In one sentence: Absolute top. An unforgettable experience! If we are in Olomouc again, we will be happy to repeat it.
This is a high-level restaurant targeting top level food, from the taste to the presentation and atmosphere, see photo's. The service is professional; the sommelier explains the wines proposed. We decided for the pairing menus, one of them with non-alcoholic drinks only. The food was...very tasty, inventive and nicely presented. Top ! The wines as part of the pairing menu are mainly local, Moravian wines. Very positive, promoting local production. One may however question whether the difference in price for a pairing menu is fully justified as it is of same magnitude as in other countries when proposing French wines of top quality. We faced two incidents which at this level of restaurant may certainly not happen. The points were rapidly corrected. We accepted apologies but would have expected they come from the manager or the top chef, not a staff member. Again, in a restaurant targeting this high-quality level, proposing an additional glass of wine or a “pousse-café” would have been an appropriate approach. However, overall it was certainly a positive experience, we spent a nice evening.More
Entree and its young celebrity chef are building a solid name in the culinary scene in the Czech Republic and I can see why. The place is run in a very professional way, as a high-end establishment should be, and in spite of some small...faults the experience I had was truly excellent. Entree is not placed in a particularly attractive neighborhood in Olomouc, rather the opposite, behind the train station, squeezed between a busy highway, train and tram tracks and some unappealing residential dwellings. The building itself however was built recently in an edgy modern style (if not necessarily of everyone's taste), and contains also an elegant hotel and wellness centre. Anyway, forgetting the surrounding area, the restaurant is tastefully set and decorated, the main (and maybe only) room is large, with tables decently distant from each other, large windows and with a pleasant ambience. The kitchen, or at least the part where the plates are finished by a busy brigade of young chefs, is in full view and this is a bonus. The restaurant has an army of staff: in a mid-week evening I counted around 15 people equally split between kitchen and waiting staff. They are mostly young, bilingual, attentive and ready, friendly and smiling. As a foreigner I don't particularly appreciate seeing the staff frequently chatting and openly sharing with each other their running jokes, this can make the customer feel as an outsider rather than a guest, but it seem to be normal in the Czech Republic. Overall one feels well served. I particularly enjoyed the conversation with the young sommelier, who chose interesting wines to be matched with the various dishes, mostly from Moravia but also an amazing one from Sicily, and who was keen and informative in introducing them. The food was truly excellent, in particular the sea bass with a fantastic peas and mushrooms sauce, a tasty vellute' from pork knuckle, and the main dish, a very tender veal plate on which there were maybe too many vegetables. I am not a big fan of desserts but the one at Entree was truly incredible and in itself worthy the trip. A glass of distillate from local berries was the proper closure for an amazing dinner. I don't understand who complains about "small portions": they didn't seem small to me, and even though I had the smallest degustation menu (five courses) I was totally full and happily tipsy. It was a pity, however, that the celebrity chef was not himself at work in the kitchen... he only appeared later in the evening. Overall not a cheap place of course but one certainly pays the high quality of the whole experience and I don't find the price excessive. Highly recommended.More
We went with the tasting menu #3 paired with all the amazing wines from reputable Moravian wine cellars. Such a profound experience... The food was really outstanding and the service professional and courteous. We loved it and we will return again. Thank you Entree!
Entree excels in not only providing delicious food, but also an experience. Every dish was delightful and a culinary treat. The staff were very helpful and spoke English well. The menu has fish, meat, and vegetarian options. The staff is accommodating is food allergies. A...lovely special occasion restaurant or dinner for the hungry traveler. Get reservations far in advance! Especially for weekends.More
Very cool restaurant in a blah part of town. We walked there - past train station, across the tracks, along major road: best to take a cab, which is what we did on the way back to our hotel. The restaurant itself is a super...cool, creative design - big open space, lots of plant greenery, open kitchen. We really liked the setting, and loved the food. The service was excellent though a bit amateurish - A+ for effort though. Ditto for the sommelier, who seemed to want to agree with us rather than make interesting recommendations but we ended up with good selections nonetheless. Great French wine options, not much Moravian wine and none by the glass. Hands down the best restaurant in town by a longshot. We enjoyed our evening and would definitely go again.More
Usually restaurants in hotels are to be avoided; often boring and average food. This one is exceptional; the decor in fun and exciting and the tasting menu is full of suprises. Possibly designed with the Czech palate in mind, a shade too much pickle and...vinegar in some dishes, but not enough to put you off. Otherwise a must "go to" if you are visiting the region. Staff were nice, but we must have been served by four or five different ones during our tasting experience, so its was difficult be build up much of a rapport. And the sommelier a bit slow in attending to our wine needs, so a little room for improvement on the service side generally.More
I was there with my family celebrating dad's birthday. The service was nice to us, spending a lot of time with us explaining all the dishes, etc. We were watching the open kitchen and its Chef all the time with amaze. And the food itself...was stunning. It is a perfect place and a (kind of hidden) gem in the Moravian region.More
Very nice interior. Food (today) was very good, altough average chicken with sausage doesnt belong to degustation menu. But 3 things RUINED our experience 1. Our unprofessional waitress clearly hasnt her day (for the sake of others hopefully only this day). She wasnt communicate well, was...taking away unfinished shared plates/drinks without asking, we had to stop her! 2. They have special menu and degustation menu. We went with my friends and we could either all order degustation menu or nobody would get it. WTF? Whats more, we wanted to try more variety of food but once you order degustation menu you cannot order special menu they have 3. We were 5 and for the first meal in degustation we got portion for 4 people as its made initially for 2 person, so 3,5,7 its not a good number for degustation menu as there is a that stupid rule - everybody or nobody. It was nice to try it but not planning to go back here.More
We had degustation menu and the food was excellent. Unfortunately the whole experience was ruined by very rude staff, first the sommelier said he won’t be coming to our table because we dared to discuss his choice of some wines. Secondly the dinner took soooo...long. We came at 6pm and our deserts arrived after my request at 9:45pm, it was 5 course menu. PityMore
Wonderful food and wine list. Definitely the best restaurant in Olomouc, and one of the top restaurants in the country. Wait staff was friendly and spoke English.
I must admit we had expected a lot from this spot mainly because of social media & marcom mastery performed by headchef/owner. Thus we werent fully satisfied. BUT we were 💯 impressed by THE WAITING STAFF👌🏻 Does their wage include the golden bucks??? If not,...it definitely should!More
